Paris Hilton and Fiancé Chris Zylka Have Reportedly Split
Paris Hilton and her fiancé, Chris Zylka, have reportedly called it quits, ending their 11-month engagement. According to several outlets, including People, the couple split a few weeks ago. So far, no official confirmation has been given by either Hilton or Zylka.
Zylka proposed over New Year’s weekend at the end of 2017. The couple made the announcement in early January with a photo shoot set against the backdrop of Aspen, Colorado’s picturesque ski slopes.
“I said Yas!” Hilton captioned a photo of her fiancé, known for his role as Tom Garvey on HBO’s The Leftovers, down on one knee. “So happy & excited to be engaged to the love of my life. My best friend & soulmate. Perfect for me in every way. So dedicated, loyal, loving & kindhearted. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true!”
The actor proposed with a $2 million, 20-carat center stone set in a platinum split shank halo band with two carats of smaller diamonds. It was reportedly inspired by a ring owned by Hilton’s mother, Kathy Hilton.
The now-exes first met more than eight years ago at an Oscars party, but their romance is relatively recent. After becoming reacquainted two years ago, they started dating, at first keeping their relationship out of the spotlight but eventually going public in February 2017.
