Restoration Hardware Has a Restaurant and It’s Dining Room #Goals
If you’ve ever walked fantasized about living in a home decor catalogue, we’ve got some news that might interest you. Restoration Hardware, our source for all things rustic, reclaimed, and rare, has opened a first-of-its-kind dining experience in the heart of Napa Valley. As you might expect, it’s stocked to the brim with furnishings and finds that make it feel like you’ve been invited to your most glamorous friend’s chateau for dinner. (Oh, and it has plenty of wine.)
Nestled in Yountville, the indoor-outdoor space is composed of five buildings that house a wine vault, a coffee bar, and two “boutique design galleries,” in addition to the main dining area. Century-old French limestone fountains dot the courtyard, and internationally sourced treasures make each sightline more stunning than the last. (And did we mention it’s full of wine? Basically, this place is heaven.)
Restoration Hardware’s Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman was inspired by the beauty of the Napa Valley to create something new — a hybrid space that combined lifestyle with RH’s signature worldly aesthetics. “RH Yountville reflects our vision for creating inspiring spaces and authentic experiences that respect and amplify the local culture,” he said in a release. “This is an inherently personal project given our nearby headquarters in Marin County.” Diners can expect to enjoy farm-to-table goodness surrounded by 100-year-old olive trees, and the compound’s “outdoor living rooms” can be rented out for private wine tastings. (Can you say “best bachelorette weekend ever”?)
RH Yountville is open now and receiving diners daily from 10am to 10pm. (The galleries close at 9 nightly.) We’re adding it to our list of must-see stops for our next trip to wine country… and we suggest you do the same. Don’t forget to take design notes!
