“This Is Us” Unveiled New Season 2 Footage and We Officially Can’t Wait for the Premiere
Of all the TV shows returning this fall, we may be most excited about the September 26 premiere of This Is Us’ second season. When creators dropped a major three-minute sneak peek in our laps last month, we couldn’t hold back our tears. Now, more footage has been unveiled, and we can barely keep it together again.
The show’s official Twitter account debuted a brand-new clip on Friday night, teasing, “Get ready for three minutes of pure Pearson joy.” In addition to interviews with all of your faves, it includes plenty of never-before-seen footage, which kicks off at the 1:07 mark. You’re not even ready for this!

Fans will be happy to know that season two will pick up right where season one left off — the morning after Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack’s (Milo Ventimiglia) big cliffhanger of a fight, as Rebecca pulls up in her station wagon and teenage Kate (Hannah Zeile) asks her brother, “What’s Mom doing back?”
The clip also teases plenty of other plot lines, including Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) finally moving in together, Kevin (Justin Hartley) choosing between his career and his love life, and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) wanting to take a cue from his parents and adopt a child, which places a real strain on his marriage. So. Much. Drama.

“There’s change afoot. Change is coming,” Ventimiglia teases in his interview. “You see the good. You see the bad. You see it all starting to come together or you see it all really go the other way and completely fall apart.” Chrissy Metz adds, “The writers have completely surprised us again.”
We have no idea how we’re supposed to wait patiently for premiere night!
