Jennifer Aniston may have just been voted the most beautiful woman in the world, as well as launched some of the most popular hair trends of the ‘90s, but there are a few things about her hair that you might find surprising. Not only was she not a fan of the famous Rachel cut, but it turns out that she’s not a fan of her hair at all.
In an interview with Yahoo New Zealand, Jennifer admitted, “…my hair is, like, the bane of my life.” But how can that possibly be when she always slays? Straight, long, short, bob — it’s like she can do no wrong. But where we see perfection, Jennifer sees the trials and tribulations of her tresses. “I’m always thinking about how to tame it. I always think it’s too dry, too frizzy, too kinky and it’s, like, everyone loves it.” They sure do.
And if you’ve ever struggled to capture the look of Jen’s magnificent mane, then you’re not alone. In fact, Jen joins you on that quest, admitting that she’s not the one responsible for her coiffed perfection. “The team and hairstylists — I owe it all to them. I can’t take credit.”
Where she does give herself credit is in her confidence, which she believes comes through in her outer appearance, although she also reveals, “Now I play it safe, and I don’t like to follow trends because I just don’t know what I’m doing.”
Playing it safe or not, loving her hair or not, she sure is lovely either way.
