7 #OOTDs for the Week: 7 Chic Ways to Wear a Scarf
Scarves don’t get enough credit — seriously. We often deck ourselves out in eye-catching baubles, but overlook these sophisticated and seriously stylish pieces. Believe us when we say scarves are one accessory you need to have in your closet — and we’re not talking about those oversized knitted numbers that make the cooler months a little more bearable. We’re referring to those silk beauties with stunning prints that have been a major wardrobe staple for stylish ladies since, well, forever (almost). So, the next time you’re not feelin’ the bling but want to give your outfit a little bit of extra oomph, just look to these versatile and oh-so-fabulous add-ons.
2. @stylescrapbook: High-waisted jeans, varsity jackets and good old classic tees are a match made in #OOTD heaven, but throw a wild écharpe and some killer shades into the mix and you’ve got one seriously stylish ’90s-inspired getup. We’re all over this one. (via @stylescrapbook)
3. @grasiemercedes: Accessorizing a halter? Not always easy, but that’s where a scarf (or bandana) comes in. It dresses things up without feeling fussy or too over the top. Choose one in a complementary, yet contrasting (think lighter or darker) hue to really make it pop. (via @grasiemercedes)
6. @chrisellelim: French-girl chic meets borrowed from the boys with a pair of killer heels, oversized separates and of course a perfectly tied foulard. Bonus points for black and white polka dots. (via @chrisellelim)
