Everyone loves a good cookie. That’s why you’ll be all about the exciting news from Chips Ahoy that’s about to burst out of the oven. The cookie company has definitely been flexing their creative muscle recently, with the release of delicious new S’mores and Red Velvet Chip flavors, and now they’re back with something else: Chips Ahoy Thins, a crunchy take on the classic indulgence.
The new snack comes in both Original Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon Sugar varieties, and guess what? They hit store shelves across the country TODAY. With just 150 calories per four cookies, these will be your new go-to nosh for when you’re looking for a “more adult” take on your favorite treat.
We got a chance to try the new cookies, and our verdict is that crunchy cookie lovers will LOVE the super-crisp texture. But be warned: These cookies break super easily (our preview packages barely survived their special delivery). But the taste is bomb dot com, and the Cinnamon Sugar version tastes like your fave childhood cinnamon toast cereal — but in a cookie. What the what? Sure, these biscuits may be thin, but they’re certainly not lacking in shape or form.
