Light Up Your Drinks with These LED Coasters
2013 may very well be the first year of personalized lighting. After all, who doesn’t want the opportunity to customize the color of lighting in their home? A few months back, Philips introduced their Hue smart lightbulbs, and now they’ve done it again with the Philips Lumiware Color Changing Coasters.
LED lighted products can be quite tacky, but over the past year or so, we’ve started to see them designed in tasteful ways. These coasters are not overly geeky, but still offer a tech twist on home or party decor.
They will set you back $50, so if you can’t afford them now, at least put them on your wish list. They’re perfect for indoor and outdoor parties, or any time of day you’re feeling festive. Although they look like one solid color from the outset, they actually change colors during their use.
And guess what? They’re weatherproof! You can even leave them outside, or take them along with you on a beach or camping trip. They’re also rechargeable and work up for 12 hours on one charge. Though the coasters are made of glass, the glass is thick enough that they’re not easily broken, which is especially useful for any house party that gets a bit too crazy ;)
What do you think? We love them and would love to see ’em used under drinks, bowls, or even vases for some colorful, bright, future-esque decor.
Our undergarments might have taken a backseat in 2020, but with a new year upon us, we're feeling inspired to reprioritize our most intimate clothing layer — especially in time for Valentine's Day. Because hey, what better way to kickstart a season of self-love than by treating yourself to a confidence-boosting set of lingerie?
