And just like that, my little one turned ONE. What?! It’s beautiful and crazy and exactly what everyone tells you about having kids: It all flies by insanely fast. While I have tens of thousands of phone photos featuring babygirl Anokhi maxing out my iCloud storage, I wanted to put together a special photo series to commemorate her (and my!) first year. When I was pregnant, we put together a photo series of patterns on patterns on bump. This time, it’s all about monochrome. Color on color on me and my mini.

To create your own take on this photoshoot, it's all about starting with a seamless color backdrop. You can use photo paper or fake it with fabric. Add in a few props in each color, outfits for you and your little, and some friends/coworkers to help shoot!
