Ladies, 2017 has started off as a very influential year for us, and with February creeping up, it’s only going to get better. Galentine’s Day is approaching (YES, finally a day to celebrate the best ladies in our lives!), and we’ve got loads of ideas for how you can spend this special day with your girl gang. Today, we’ve got an easy DIY for a night in with your best gals. Kick off those heels, avoid the crowds and cozy into these adorable DIY slippers.

Materials and Tools:

  1. Cut out various eye shapes from the black felt.
  2. Cut out lip shapes from the holographic vinyl.
  3. Glue the felt eyes onto the slippers.
  4. Peel off the vinyl protective cover and paste lip shape onto one of the slippers.

First things first, decide on your eye design. Then, use your shiny scissors to snip out the design from the black felt.

Now for a little ‘90s integration! Figure out the lip size that will fit with your eye design. Then, cut out the lips from the holographic vinyl. Feel free to play with the lip pose (;

Tack on your felt eyes and holographic lips accordingly. Remember to remove the protective covering from the holographic vinyl.

Annnnnd you’re done!

If you’re feeling up to the challenge, make two pairs!

I love how the holographic vinyl makes the lips look plump and glossy (;

Spa day, anyone?

Or maybe some fruit and popcorn? (Is fruity popcorn a thing?)

Alright, let’s gather the ladies together. It’s time to get this Galentine’s sleepover started!

It’s sure to be the perfect way to spend time together.

And if your ladies happen to leave you for the night (let’s hope not!), you could always just cozy up on your own. Lolly sure looks like she’s on cloud nine (;

Sweet dreams!
