Go Beyond Spooky and Make These Modern Jars for Halloween
Fall is just around the corner, which means it’s officially time to get ready for our fave holiday of the season: Halloween! Let’s say you just bought the fanciest Halloween costume online and now you don’t want to spend tons of money on pretty pumpkins, garlands and other festive decorations. No problem — just check out these spooky Halloween pieces that will cost you pretty much nothing. These themed jars featuring a spider, an owl and a skeleton hand are chic, contemporary and *scary* affordable.
Materials and Tools:
- Halloween template
- self-adhesive paper
- empty jars or bottles
- scissors
- white spray paint
Instructions:
1. Download and print our label template on a sheet of adhesive paper. Then cut each Halloween figure.
2. Take your empty bottles and jars, remove the labels and clean them. Then protect your surface and spray paint the jars. Let them completely dry, then repeat with a second coat.
3. Take the first animal shape. Then peel off the back of the adhesive paper and stick it to the first jar.
4. Repeat with the other jars and add flowers.
Create your unique label design or download our template, then print it on a sheet of adhesive paper. Take your empty bottles and jars, remove the old labels and clean them. Then protect your surface and spray paint using your desired color. Let the jars completely dry, then repeat with a second coat. Next, use your scissors to cut out your first “Halloween label.” Peel off the back of the adhesive paper and stick it to the jar, as shown above. Finally, repeat the last step with the other jars and add flowers. You’re done!
