When we first heard that Lady Gaga was performing the Grammy Awards聽tribute to the late, great, David Bowie, we wondered what聽we might expect. Known for her theatrics and crazy costumes, Bowie was her hero. At tonight鈥檚 awards show she turned it out, and blew us all away with her digitized Bowie looks, her hair, clothes, and voice (singing in a lower register than she usually does, harder than you鈥檇 think!). She even shared the stage with 鈥70s and 鈥80s Bowie collaborator (and modern day Daft Punk collab star) Nile Rodgers in her performance, where she owned the stage.

onstage during The 58th GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center on February 15, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

But don鈥檛 take our word for it. Twitter was abuzz with lots of reactions to this epic performance.

Loads of people loved the performance:

Including Orange Is The New Black star Laverne Cox鈥

Some people were underwhelmed.

And others鈥 well, let鈥檚 just say it wasn鈥檛 their favorite.

David Bowie鈥檚 son, filmmaker Duncan Jones tweeted something pretty cryptic during the performance. We鈥檙e not sure whether he liked it or not.

While it looks like the jury鈥檚 out on the performance itself, one thing is for sure: we definitely won鈥檛 be forgetting her must-see, Bowie-inspired outfit.
