No One Can Top This 4-Year-Old’s Epic Met Gala DIY
The world’s youngest fashion designer and littlest DIY-er just schooled us on THE most creative way to use construction paper. With the glue gun still hot in our hands, we’re bowing down.
To celebrate tonight’s always celeb-studded Met Gala, the four-year-old known to Instagramers everywhere as Mayhem along with her uber creative mother (follow the duo at 2sisters_angie) have recreated some of the ball’s most iconic red carpet moments using nothing but tissue paper, craft paper and tape. The practically flawless looks were posted to Vogue’s Instagram this past weekend, and it’s making our countdown to the most stylish event of the year cuter than ever.
No one else could make plaid wrapping paper look as elegant as SJP’s tartan Alexander McQueen gown from the 2006 Met Gala.
As Mayhem told Vogue “puffy sleeves are awesome.” No wonder she glows in this dress that mimics Florence Welch’s tiered Alexander McQueen gown from 2012.
Tastemaker/risk taker/Instagram sensation. Wait, are we talking about Mayhem (lookin’ luxe in her version of this ’09 Dolce & Gabbana tux) or Rihanna?
Ahh! Just look at the way she’s workin’ the camera in this dreamy red recreation of Jennifer Lopez’ Gucci gown from 2011. Lupita, we bet she’s out for you next!
So, who wore the looks better? We’re leaning toward Mayhem ;) Do you follow any other creative kids who make the most epic creations? Tell us in the comments below.
