Meghan Markle knows a thing or two about traveling in style: After all, before moving into Prince Harry’s flat, she was frequently jet-setting from Toronto to the UK, looking impeccable all the while. Lucky for us, she was kind enough to share some of top travel hacks in an old collaborative post between her former blog, The Tig, and Birchbox, which is now making the rounds on the interwebs once more,.

For starters, the former Suits actress said she never travels without… dryer sheets?! That’s right! Markle said she layers static diffusers (like these Bounce Fabric Softener Sheets, $10) between her shirts, skirts, and dresses to keep her wardrobe on point. “Your clothes will smell fresh when you arrive,” she advised. “And especially when you return home!”

In addition, she had some smart ideas about how to stay fresh herself. “Pack your favorite multi-use stick and face spritz for a quick touch-up on cheeks, lips, [and] face when you land,” she advised.

The royal bride-to-be also reportedly dished her essentials for staying healthy while traveling in a separate piece on The Tig, noting that she’s a big, big fan of hand sanitizer — for obvious reasons. “I’m no germophobe, but when I get on a plane I always use some quick hand wipes or a travel sanitizer spray to wipe it all down: that includes the little TV, the service tray, and all the buttons around your seat,” she said. “Sure, the person next to you may give you a side eye, but at the end of the flight, you’ll be the one whistling dixie with nary a sniffle.” Touché, Meghan!

Water and probiotics also made her must-haves list, with the 36-year-old writing, “Always travel with a high strain probiotic, and hydrate like you’re dying of thirst – because even if you’re not, for your body – the thirst is real. This dynamic duo of probiotics and agua will keep your gut health in check and honestly stave off jet lag if you’re globetrotting on your travels.”

Duly noted! Now, if you excuse us, we’ll be packing our luggage with dryer sheets…
