Just when we thought our love for Sephora couldn’t get any deeper comes the most exciting beauty news we’ve heard all day: Italian fashion house Moschino, beloved by celebs such as Mindy Kaling and Katy Perry, is teaming up with Sephora to launch its first-ever beauty line, and come next month, you’ll be able to shop it exclusively at the beauty retail mecca!
Already home to plenty of other covetable exclusives, such as Kat Von D’s brand new glitter-fighting eyeshadow brush, the store will introduce the seven-piece capsule collection starring the brand’s signature bear both in-store and online.
Speaking exclusively with ELLE Canada, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott unveiled the MEGA exciting news and shared the motivation behind his (relatively) affordable line — nothing is priced over $70.
“I learned very early on how much young people love my work, and sometimes they don’t have the means to get it,” Scott said. “This is another way for me to do Moschino and not sacrifice quality. It’s a lot more accessible. I love to be able to put my arms around more people and have them be a part of the Moschino family in some capacity.”
Of course, coming from the same designer who gave us that toilet paper purse, nothing about the collection with be ordinary: You can expect to see an oversized eyeshadow palette in the shape of a bear, a three-piece brush set, a highlighter, compact mirror, and a lip gloss chain necklace. There will also be a mini palette shaped like a Moschino shopping bag, and, perhaps our fave piece of all, an eye mask made of fluffy faux fur (!).
