How to Throw a PJs & Pearls Oscar Party

Still stuck on what theme to rock for your Oscar viewing party? Whether you’re watching the Oscars or not, we totally love the look of this PJ & Pearls Oscar Party by the gals at Saucy Pants. It would make a great bridal shower, bachelorette, or birthday party theme any time of year. A party where we can get totally decked out and hang out in our jammies is pretty much the best.

From party printables to a fancy foodie popcorn bar, here’s how to make a PJs & Pearls Party of your own!

You’ve gotta have solid outfits. Pair your favorite pair of PJs with your finest jewels and fancy makeup. And be sure to rig up a photo booth complete with mustaches and other fun photo props.

Next up, snacks!

On this table, we’ve got Peach, Brie, and Fig Appetizers as well as a Grapefruit & Orange Citrus Salad. For more details on recipes and prep, head here. Nom.

And you’ve gotta have a popcorn bar!! Love all the varieties of sweet and savory toppings.

For decor, the general color palette of this party is gray, gold, silver, and white. Create bunting using ribbon and printable templates  and head to an antique shop to find fun birdcages and candelabras for displaying desserts and what not. So fun!

What’s a good party without games? Create your own scorecards (or print these readymade ones from Saucy Pants) to see who in your group of friends is a true cinephile.

Now, onto dessert. Macarons, chocolate cake, and tons of berries. ‘Nuff said.

If you can’t resist giving out goodie bags, make ’em a little more classy by creating little boxes of swag. Throw in some fake pearls, a sleeping mask, and other fun things that go with the PJs & Pearls theme.

Thanks to gals at Saucy Pants for sharing this awesome party theme with us! We’re definitely bookmarking it in the events folder here at Brit HQ.

What fun party themes have you seen, attended, or organized lately? We’d love to see pics! Shoot a note to hello@brit.co if you’ve got pics to share, and feel free to say hi in the comments below.
