Selena Gomez may be taking a break from social media, but that doesn’t mean her accounts aren’t still totally on fire. While the singer may or may not be joining Team Kanye and has a few strong words about Justin Bieber’s latest (young) bae, her fans were on a campaign to get her over the bump on Instagram and BAM! They just succeeded in making Selena Gomez the first person on Instagram to reach 100 million followers.
Often posting behind-the-scenes looks at her concerts and appearances and peeks into her personal life, as well as plenty of pics with fans, it’s no wonder she’s a fave to follow.
With the “Good for You” singer nearing the milestone, fans brought out the #SelenaBreakTheInternet hashtag to amp up the follow frenzy.
