Sprinkles’ Latest Flavors Give You Permission to Eat Cupcakes for Breakfast
We never need an excuse to enjoy Sprinkles Cupcakes, because they’re always giving us endless reasons to stop in for a sweet treat (remember those stunning royal wedding cupcakes last spring!?). But this month, the cupcake chain is debuting limited-edition cereal-inspired cupcakes, and they’ll bring you right back to your go-to childhood breakfasts. If you haven’t yet decided on your New Year’s resolutions, Sprinkles is giving you one that you’ll have no problem sticking to all month long. Its new breakfast cupcakes (prices vary by location) are directly inspired by your fave cereals growing up but with a decidedly sophisticated twist.
From January 7 to January 13, snag a Fruity Pebbles cupcake, featuring a lemon cake with sprinkles baked inside and topped with vanilla frosting and Fruity Pebbles.
From January 14 to January 20, try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor, made of cinnamon cake topped with cinnamon frosting and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
Gluten-free cupcake lovers, fear not: Sprinkles is giving you the Crunch Berries cupcake from January 21 to January 27, with a GF lemon blueberry cake that’s topped with vanilla frosting and Crunch Berries.
Lastly, end the month with a Lucky Charms cupcake. From January 28 to February 3, enjoy the sugary sweetness of a strawberry cupcake filled with marshmallow and topped with strawberry frosting and Lucky Charms.
