Everyone's Convinced Taylor Swift Is Dropping 'Reputation TV' Next Week

Pop superstar Taylor Swift is known for her frequent and extremely creative use of "Easter eggs," or hidden clues in song lyrics, music videos, tour visuals, and even social media captions that allude to what's next in her career. So, it may not come as a shock that several fresh Easter egg-like hints have fans totally convinced that she has something up her sleeve for the 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) later this month.
More specifically, Swifties believe Taylor is going to announce something at some point during the ceremony. It's just not clear what...but plenty of people think it could be Reputation TV. Here's why!

Why? Well, first of all, the four menu items on Taylor's online store just so happen to be listed in a specific order: Apparel, Music, Accessories, and Sale. Is it a coincidence that the first letters of each word spell out "AMAs?" The fan base thinks not.
Additionally, on Taylor's website, there is a 26% off sale on 12 items, and Swifties realized that both of these numbers hold major significance. The specific discount rate could be alluding to the AMAs, which are being held on May 26; meanwhile, Taylor's next project would mark her 12th project since her last album, The Tortured Poets Department, was her 11th studio LP.
If you know anything about Taylor, though, the clues don't just end there. On X, Taylor Nation even re-shared someone's post about voting for her at this year's award ceremony. This might not seem all that strange, since the star is nominated in six different categories. Nonetheless, the capitalization of a few specific letters in the post has especially put fans on edge.
"And our town, it looks so sMall from wAy up here," the post read, and Taylor's team added, "Screamed, 'vote for the chairman' at the night sky!"
Just like the menu items on Taylor's website, the randomly capitalized letters in the post all spell out "AMAs." So, Swifties believe she's definitely alluding to an announcement at the ceremony, potentially about her next album. At the same time, others suspect she might finally speak on "Taylor's Version" of her album Reputation.
Such a reveal at the AMAs wouldn't be unusual for Taylor, who shared news of Tortured Poets at the 2024 Grammys and, before that, announced Midnights at the 2022 VMAs. This specific award ceremony is particularly significant for her as a musician, too, since she has 40 AMAs, the most of any artist in the ceremony's history.
It remains to be seen if Taylor has any more Easter Eggs on the horizon leading up to the event. And fans will just have to tune in and see if she drops any news at the ceremony. You can stream the AMAs on Paramount+ on May 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
