There’s something about the French. They really know what they’re doing when it comes to all things beauty: skincare, makeup and hair included (French braids, we love you so). They’re known for being more minimalist when it comes to beauty, which is why contouring isn’t their thing, and having flawless skin is. People in the US have taken note and become huge fans of a popular French brand that’s only been available in France or online — until today.
Embryolisse, the French skincare brand, launches their most popular products at Target on Monday. The brand, which is known for their expertise in dermo-cosmetics (when cosmetics + dermatology meet), focuses on no BS skincare — you won’t find frilly fragrances, gimmicky promises or a focus on trends in this line (all of which is refreshing TBH). Instead, they focus on creating products that are non-irritating and gentle but serious in results. Target will carry the Lait-Crème Concentré ($28, a multitasking moisturizer), Hydra-mat Emulsion ($40, a mattifying moisturizer/primer), Micellar Lotion ($26, a gentle makeup remover/cleanser) and the Artist Secret Radiant Eye ($35, a cooling eye brightening treatment).
The most popular product of the bunch is the Lait-Crème Concentrè, which is described as a “24-hour miracle cream that’s a must have product for makeup artists, models and celebrities.” It was the brand’s first product ever — created in 1950 by a Parisian dermatologist — and has remained their cult product because of its simple formula and ability to act as a primer, moisturizer and makeup remover (say whaaaa?!). That should be all the convincing you need, y’all. This brand could be your new go-to — just sayin’.
