You’ll Never Believe How This Fabric Is Made
We can’t believe it either. These complicated and detailed 3D-looking fabrics come straight from the imaginations of Ronan and Erwan Boroullec, who are known for their clean and modern designs with a healthy dose of mid-century inspiration. And get this — they’re made from a 3D-knit, double jersey fabric that give them a quilt-like quality. Later this year they’ll be distributed by Kvadrat and in three patterns, but trust us: Those three will be enough to keep your imagination busy and your decision making difficult. Be it chairs, sofa-beds or ottomans, we can’t wait to see what you create with these cool fabrics.
As you can see by this chair cover, the fabrics are flexible enough to cover a variety of surfaces, but sturdy enough to stand the test of time.
We told you: difficult decision making.
The three available patterns are the stripe-y Canal, the geometric Moraine and the grainy Gravel.
We love all three, but which would you pick for your next design?
