Blake Lively may be the mama to a new baby and a toddler (who we were recently given a super cute rare glimpse at), but that doesn’t mean she’s ready for a break from the wonderful chaos just yet. In fact, she’s even thinking about her little ones while on the red carpet, and what she had to say about her baby girls is just so adorable, we can’t take it.
While chatting with People on the People’s Choice Awards red carpet, Blake admitted that although she was “really grateful” for the night’s recognition, she was still ready to leave the revelry behind and head home to her girls. “I’m actually rushing home to be with them now.”
“I love my babies so I’m very sad to be away from them. But they’re also very young,” the 29-year-old said of three-month old Ines and two-year-old James. “They haven’t gotten old enough for me to be thrilled to be away from them.” Too cute!
And if she and hubby, Ryan Reynolds, get the (unusual) family of their dreams, she may be rushing home to be with her babies for a few years to come. Let’s hope she’s still thrilled when they’re rebellious teenagers.
