We love starting off our day with a healthy smoothie, so we’re following acai’s lead and putting ours in a bowl. Not only will this smoothie bowl satisfy your chocolate needs, but this recipe also has chia and hemp seeds that are a great source of omega 3s and protein. We’re adding blueberries and cocoa for antioxidants to keep you looking and feeling young + spinach for some extra vitamins and minerals. This breakfast is packed with goodness! Did we mention this is vegan and gluten-, dairy-, soy- and refined sugar-free?! Get ready to fuel your body AND satisfy those taste buds!

– one banana

– two handfuls of spinach

– 1 cup of almond milk

– 1 tbsp raw cocoa powder

– 1 tbsp chia seeds

– blender

For another variation, try adding a tablespoon of almond butter or half a small avocado for some healthy fats and protein. The avocado will make your smoothie a bit creamier too.
