If you’re anything like us, you have a stash of lip balms and glosses of all colors and flavors, and you probably keep more than one in your purse at all times. Variety is the spice of life, right? That’s why, in addition to our original gold mine of homemade lip balms, we’ve rounded up another 14 for you to DIY. Confused by all the lippy terminology? Check out our crash course on buying and applying lip products. Oh, and don’t forget to exfoliate your lips every once and a while, too. We got you covered, xx ;)
4. Homemade Honey Lip Balm: Because honey is a humectant (it draws moisture from the air and traps it), it’s a great additive to lip balms. Not to mention, it’s yummy — especially when paired with white chocolate like it is in this recipe! (via Henry Happened)
6. Basic DIY Lip Balm: Lip balm really only needs two ingredients: a wax and a carrier oil. We used white beeswax pellets and sweet almond oil, and went a step further to add shea butter and flavoring oils for a little extra luxury. (via Brit + Co)
11. Rosewater Lip Balm: Not a fan of lavender? Not to worry! Rosewater is another great natural anti-anxiety ingredient. And it smells and tastes lovely. Try these rosewater desserts, too, while you’re at it :) (via Gimme Some Oven)
13. Pumpkin Pie Lip Balm: This lip balm is a bit of a double-edged sword. You’ll love putting it on because it tastes amazing, but you’ll also love licking it off because it tastes amazing. (via Henry Happened)
