Try This Easy Hack to Upgrade Last Year’s Jacket

Try This Easy Hack to Upgrade Last Year’s Jacket

As the temperature drops, our parkas make their way into rotation. Though we have our favorite classic go-to pieces (hello, peacoat), some of last year’s jackets could use a new ‘do. With faux fur DIY collars on trend, we created a five-minute hack to add a tuft of cozy fluff to your old outerwear. Check out the steps below.

– faux fur

– scissors

– hot glue gun

Warm neck, here we come!

Step1

Determine the width and length of fur you need to cover your collar. Snip into the fur about an inch or two, then tear along the line. This will prevent the fur from having perfectly even edges like a trimmed hedge. Add hot glue to the collar of your jacket, then add the faux fur.

Looks like a totally new coat!
