Kylie Jenner’s New Lip Kits Only Come in This Surprising Shade
Kylie Jenner has made a name for herself over the past year thanks to her bold style sense in the hair, fashion and beauty departments. She’s rocked hair colors that span the rainbow — we’re talking lime green, deep teal and baby blue, to name a few — and has inspired countless people to overline their lips in the hopes of achieving those sought-after pouty “Kylie lips” that we’re all familiar with at this point. Whether we’re replicating her luxurious beauty routine with drugstore products or rocking Kylie-inspired blue lipstick, more and more people look to her as a trendsetter because of her willingness to have fun with her look. That’s why it’s no surprise that, starting today, Kylie is making it a little easier for us to rock makeup just like hers in this one unexpected shade.
Today, the Kylie Lip Kit ($29) launched. Each of the *brown only* kits come with one matte liquid lipstick and one coordinating lip pencil so you don’t even have to think about which lipliners work well with the lipsticks. Right now, the kits come in Candy K (a pinky-nude), Dolce K (a taupey-caramel) and True Brown (a chocolate-brown hue). Tbh, each shade looks super wearable and flattering — none of them are too dark, although Candy K and Dolce K do look pretty similar to us. You could wear these shades to the office, to happy hour and to a party or night out — that’s how versatile they are.
Less than one hour after launching at 9am PT this morning, the three available kits are already sold out, but we’re expecting them to be restocked soon (they had to be expecting this crazy demand, right?!). Brown or nude lip colors are not what you’d expect to find launching during the holidays — reds and pinks are more standard — but we’re excited to see more neutral shades take over holiday Instas and Snapchats with the debut of this highly anticipated line. Pucker up, people!

Our undergarments might have taken a backseat in 2020, but with a new year upon us, we're feeling inspired to reprioritize our most intimate clothing layer — especially in time for Valentine's Day. Because hey, what better way to kickstart a season of self-love than by treating yourself to a confidence-boosting set of lingerie?
