Breakups are never easy. And they’re undoubtedly infinitely harder when the whole world is watching your every move: Just ask Kylie Jenner. The 20-year-old reality star thought she’d found her lobster in ex-boyfriend Tyga, posting endless snaps of their PDA to social media and even going so far as to tattoo a tiny “T” on her ankle to show her unwavering commitment for her beau. But by March, they’d gone their separate ways, with Jenner left to nurse her broken heart all alone in the spotlight.
Though she made it clear she was moving on, cozying up to sis Kendall Jenner’s rumored ex (now Kylie’s main squeeze), Travis Scott, at Coachella, she had some healing to do, as she recently dished on Life of Kylie.
In the E! clip, Caitlyn Jenner can be seen trying to cheer her youngest daughter up in a moment that’s presumably post-split. “You can’t sit around and mope!” she says to a beyond-bummed looking Kylie.
“The hardest part about having a relationship, for me, is just that it’s blasted all over the internet, you have to hear about other people’s opinions, on who you’re with, it’s a lot,” the young entrepreneur confesses. She isn’t wrong — the pair faced gossip over everything from Tyga’s legal and financial woes to rumors of infidelity.
“Most of the time, it’s just not true,” she continues. “Like, you have no idea what I’m like in a relationship, the kind of bond I have with somebody else.” Girl’s got a fair point.
It’s yet another example of how she can’t seem to win when it comes to the internet. “There’s no winning. It’s just unnecessary negativity. I feel like I’m in a relationship with the world sometimes.” Awwww!
Honestly, we feel for her: We know we certainly wouldn’t want the world peeking in on any of our post-breakup sob sessions!
Here’s to sending her a whole slew of virtual hugs.
