Between binge-watching episodes of Fuller House over the weekend, you may have caught a glimpse of Mean Girls playing on TV Sunday morning — and remembered how clever it is. Now, one of the cast members has taken to social media to share an equally clever pregnancy announcement. Hint: Her father invented Toaster Strudel (Here’s how to make your own strudel, btw). Yes, it looks like Lacey Chabert is expecting her first baby with husband Dave Nehdar.
The Mean Girls star posted a photo to Instagram of her Chihuahua, Kitty, wearing a shirt that says, “My mom is expecting a baby and all I get is this silly shirt.” She captioned it, “Kitty doesn’t seem as excited about this as we are… I’m so happy to share the good news that my husband and I are expecting a baby later this year! We are thrilled and so thankful for this blessing.”
A couple weeks ago, Chabert posted an adorable photo of herself touching actress Amy Davidson’s baby bump at her baby shower. Little did we know she would announce her own pregnancy soon afterward.
