Shelton recommends choosing one-piece suits with forgiving features like adjustable straps, halter top necks, bandeau tops, and deep-V necklines. High cut styles with side cut-outs, deep backs, belts, and color blocking will elongate legs while softening an extra-long torso. "The best piece of advice I can give to anyone shopping for a one piece is to always measure your torso, and determine your size based on that. If the size guide of the swimwear you're buying doesn't have a torso measurement, that's a big red flag," explains Christina Vidal, co-creator of Kenny Flowers' Watercolors collection
