Among the biggest and best commercials that were shown during the 2018 Super Bowl was a teaser for what will surely be one of this year’s biggest films: Solo: A Star Wars Story. And today, Lucasfilm dropped the full trailer, giving us all kinds of space-based, action-packed awesomeness.

Anyone who’s seen even one movie from the Star Wars franchise knows the Han Solo character famously played by Harrison Ford. Now, more than 40 years after the first movie, we’re about to delve into his backstory and find out what made Solo, well, Solo.

This time around, Alden Ehrenreich takes on the title role as a young Solo starting out on his path to a questionable lifestyle. Along the way, he meets various friends and foes, including Chewbacca, Donald Glover as a suave-looking Lando Calrissian, and Emilia Clarke (yep, none other than Game of Thrones’ Daenerys Targaryen) as Qi’Ra. Also keep an eye out for Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, and plenty of fabulous alien-like folks.

But even with so many people (er, creatures?) around him, Qi’Ra points out to our hero, “I may be the only person who knows what you are.”

And what is he? “I’ve been running scams on the street since I was 10,” Solo says as the trailer kicks into high gear. “I was kicked out of the flight academy for having a mind of my own.” But then he adds: “I’m going to be a pilot. The best in the galaxy.”

Star Wars also shared a peek at the film’s posters, which have a retro vibe that just emphasizes the aged look of the faux paper. It’s like we’ve been whisked back into the ’70s in the best way.

Check out the trailer below and get ready for Solo: A Star Wars Story to hit theaters on May 25.
