Andy Cohen Is Bringing Back This Wildly Popular Dating Show
TV shows come and go, but some remain in our memories and hearts for far, far longer than others… which migggghhht explain the recent explosion of revivals, including Will & Grace, Charmed and, of course, Gilmore Girls. Now, we’re getting good news for those looking to find love on TV (we’re looking at you, Corrine!): Late ‘80s and early ‘90s game show hit, Love Connection, has been picked up by Fox with Bravo’s Andy Cohen as its host.
According to Variety, the show will be executive produced by Andy (who rather recently dished the deets on a shady Taylor Swift moment) along with (surprise, surprise!) The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss.

Andy shared the news with his followers last week, teasing the caption, “LOVE ALERT!” “I was a huge fan of the original Love Connection, and hosting the new version allows me to do one of the things I love most: meddling in people’s lives,” he joked to the outlet.
While there’s no word yet about whether or not the reboot will deviate at all from the show’s original premise, which saw one lucky love-seeker set up on a date, only to result in a “love connection” (voted on by both the daters and the home audience), a date with the same party or a new date pick entirely, if the success of the The Real Housewives series is any indicator, Andy’s going to knock this one out of the park.
