Jennifer Lopez at 65th Grammy's Awards

From using her fame for good to being our rom-com queen — I mean who doesn't love The Wedding Planner — Jennifer Lopez is THAT girl. She's had high-profile relationships from P. Diddy to Alex Rodriguez, and she's even shown us that sometimes things do work out with an ex-lover — here's looking at you Ben!

On top of everything, though, J.Lo's released banger after banger over the years. If "Jenny From The Block" is stuck in your head, get excited because this Bronx babe just announced her upcoming new album!

What's the name of her Jennifer Lopez's new album?

Jennifer Lopez - This Is Me ... Now

Are you ready? As a sequel to 2002's This Is Me... Then, Jennifer will release her latest album, This Is Me... Now. She originally shared news of the project last year on Instagram. The album is set to come out later this summer, so you know we'll be on the lookout for it!

What makes 'This Is Me...Now' different from 'This Is Me... Then'?

Per People, this album "chronicles the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades." Also, we can't fail to mention that she and Ben Affleck are officially married as opposed to their dating status in 2002 — something sure to add a poetic layer to this follow-up album!

How many songs can fans expect on 'This Is Me... Now'?

This is Me... Now will have 13 tracks, and fans will get "Dear Ben pt. II." BRB, I'm going to scream into an abyss...and maybe get some Dunkin' in honor of Ben. 😉

Kelly Clarkson may be killing it on daytime TV, but thankfully this talk show host isn’t stepping away from music anytime soon. After six years, the three time Grammy winner and The Voice coach released a new album, Chemistry, last year. This album came in the wake of a sticky divorce, but Kelly was adamant about letting fans know her music is about more than nursing a broken heart. Here's what we know!

Chemistry marked her 10th studio album and the first since 2017, which she teased earlier last year.

According to Clarkson, she worked on the album for nearly three years, but she wasn’t set on releasing it. Luckily, she decided to grace us with more incredible music.

Kelly Clarkson's initial thoughts about naming her album "Chemistry"

"It's called Chemistry because I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing," Clarkson explained. "This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship. A whole relationship shouldn't be brought down to just one thing. So there's the good, the bad, and the ugly kinda thing going on in it."

Some speculated that “the arc of an entire relationship” referred to her 2020 divorce from her husband of eight years, talent manager Brandon Blackstock, which was finalized in March 2022.

"Chemistry can be a really amazing, sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you," Clarkson said.

In a video posted to TikTok, Clarkson shared an exclusive preview of "Mine," the first song released from the album on April 14, 2023.

Once Chemistry was officially out in the world, the songstress did press tours to promote it and give more insight about songs featured on it. During her appearance on the Today show, she admitted she did text Brandon Blackstock to gauge how he felt about the album.

While she didn't go into detail about their conversation, she said she assured him the album doesn't completely focus on what went wrong.

Our thoughts about "Chemistry"

We're not being biased when we say Chemistry 45 minutes of perfection, touching on the highs and lows of romantic relationships. In "mine," Kelly sings, "Go ahead and break my heart, that's fine (so unkind)." We've all experienced heartbreak that opened our eyes to what we want, yet still left us feeling defeated and deflated in the end.

Yet on "down to you," she says, "I can't dance with the devil on my back. Need somebody who can meet me where I'm at," proving that we don't have to let heartbreak dominate how we move through life. Kelly's resilience is something we've loved about her for years — I mean, this is the same woman who gave us, "Out of the darkness and into the sun, but I won't forget all the ones that I love." She knows how to move forward confidently (and iconically, TBH).

Kelly bares her raw emotions for us to hear, leaving listeners to go through the journey of Chemistry with her. She continues capturing our hearts in song form...just like we'll continue to have this album on repeat!

Kelly Clarkson's updated thoughts about "Chemistry"

In a conversation with PEOPLE, the songstress said working onChemistry was therapeutic for her. "I cannot express how appreciative I feel for having that kind of healthy outlet...and it’s just a blessing to be able to have that outlet for those emotions that are overwhelming," she said.

Figuring out when to end a relationship is never easy, but we're glad Kelly Clarkson is in a much better place.

A Cinderella Story isn't just a movie — it's honestly a cultural moment. The costume montage, the spastic colons and synchronized swimming, the rain in this drought... even Gavin Degraw singing over the One Tree Hilltrailer on the DVD stand out! Everything about this film is iconically ingrained in our collective conscious, making Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray the Y2k blueprint for many of the "It" pairings we know and love today.

We last left our Princeton royalty preparing for their freshman year of college, dreaming of happily-ever-after — or at least graduation — and that was that! But in this era of reboots, I've often wondered what happened to our OG tortured poets after the credits rolled. Luckily, I'm not the only one! Chad Michael Murray just tee'd up a sequel, and yes that's me you hear squealing right now. Here's everything we know about what's to come for everyone's fave modern fairytale!

Is there a part two to a Cinderella story?

There's Another Cinderella Story, starring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley, but that's more so a part of a series of "Cinderella stories" rather than an actual sequel. So far, we haven't gotten a follow-up on our Princeton-bound faves.

Has "A Cinderella Story 2" been announced?

There's been no formal announcement yet, but that doesn't mean all hope is lost. During his press tour for Mother of the Bride, Chad Michael Murray told ETthat he's definitely interested in bringing Austin Ames back. He said that even his daughter told him, "You need to make another one of these, Daddy," after she watched A Cinderella Story for the first time.

His response to the idea? "Here you go, Hil. From me to you, let's do it!" — referring to Hilary Duff, of course! The timing couldn't be better either, given that Hilary just gave birth to her fourth child and could hypothetically be available to film in the coming months...just saying!

Again, there's no official information about this project yet, but with a main piece of the puzzle on board, we're one step closer to my own personal happily-ever-after — a real sequel to A Cinderella Story once and for all.

Janelle Monáe isn't holding back for anyone anymore — not even herself. On the heels of her latest album, The Age of Pleasure, the singer/actress is having the time of her life by being her unadulterated self. Referring to herself as she/they/F.A.M. (an acronym for Free A** Motherf*****), the starlet decided to take ownership of who she is at this stage in her life and is giving others permission to do the same.

Although it's been five years since she released Dirty Computer, fans haven't lost their excitement for Monáe's refreshing take on the music industry and life — myself included. I'm a huge fan, and I'm not ashamed to say I've followed her journey since the release of her first EP Metropolis: The Chase Suite in 2007.

She burst on the scene with her classic tuxedos, defying gender norms and hasn't showed any signs of slowing down. During her interview on an episode of Angie Martinez's IRL podcast, Janelle made it clear she's never cared about respectability politics. She said, "The message has always been about agency. About me choosing how I want to dress." And with The Age of Pleasure, Janelle no longer leaves room for people to make their interpretation of who she is.

The Age of Pleasure Review

Janelle Monáe - Float [Dance Edit]

It was love at first listen, with the songs masterfully blending together. It's clear that Janelle Monáe wants people to feel good. She doesn't want us to ignore that life is full of tough moments — because I think we're all feeling post-pandemic effects in one way or the other — she wants us to learn how to be okay feeling good in the lives we have. And sometimes that may require us to break free from things that haven't allowed us to do so.

In her song "Float," Janelle sings, "I used to walk into the room, head down. I don't walk. Now I float." Hearing that line as someone who's just started feeling comfortable being all of the things she was once ridiculed for hit me like a ton of bricks. It felt like Janelle personally said, "Hey, I've been there and I want you to know you get to choose to embrace yourself regardless of who didn't support it. You need to love you and enjoy your life."

Clearly she didn't actually come into my bedroom and say that, but having "Float" as the opening song for her album feels very much like a love letter to those of us with memories of being misunderstood or bullied. From there, songs like "Champagne Sh-t" and "Water Slide" encourage people to let loose and have fun with our bodies. The music is infused with beats that pay homage to the African diaspora, and when combined with her universal message of finding pleasure, it creates a gratifying soul experience that's timely.

Overall, The Age of Pleasure exceeded what I expected because it helped me come to terms with my own biases about pleasure and how others should experience it. As much as I want to call this album a hidden gem, there's nothing "hidden" about it — it's proudly bold and beautiful. Also, I don't know if this was the intended effect but, with each listen my skin seems to get clearer. I suppose she meant it when she sang "Skin looking good 'cause we stress free" in "Haute." 🤔

Not only is Janelle telling the world who she is but she's also saying she's going to create beautiful moments in this lifetime and we're free to join her if we want. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm definitely joining the party train so I can create my own beautiful moments.

Amazon's adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s famed Red, White & Royal Blueblew our minds with its perfectly extravagant and messy royal romance. Prince Henry and Alex Claremont-Diaz stole our hearts with their antics, proving that love isn't always as cookie cutter as we think it should be. Not only that, but it was the LGBT film we never knew we needed until it hit the big screen last year.

If you've been missing Prince Henry and Alex, you're in luck because a sequel to Red, White & Royal Blue is officially coming! Here's everything we know about the latest developments!

Is the main cast returning?

Image via Jonathan Prime/Prime Video

I'm happy to share that Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez are returning! I honestly don't think the Red, White & Royal Blue sequel would be the same if they weren't.

However, no other cast information has been released! Hopefully we'll see Uma Thurman and Clifton Collins, Jr. reprise their roles!

What's the sequel going to be about?

Image via Prime Video

As of yet, Variety reports that not much has been confirmed about the sequel's plot or release date. My guess is that there the two lovebirds will have to juggle new responsibilities and mishaps.

What the original plot of "Red, White & Royal Blue?"

Image via Prime Video

The novel centers around the character of Alex Claremont-Diaz, a first son of the United States, and his romantic relationship with Prince Henry, British royalty.

We cannot wait to see what new adventures are two lovebirds will cook up in Red, White & Royal Blue, but for now we’ll be rereading (and rereading) RWRB.
