Wedding photos last forever, so it’s no surprise that you would spend hours and hours Pinning every last detail, from your dress down to your digits. While you want your look to stand the test of time, that doesn’t mean you need to steer clear of right-now trends and seasonal styles altogether. It’s just about doing them in a way that won’t be cringe-worthy when you look back at your pics in the years to come.

1. Roses: This cool-weather take on a romantic rose nail design reverses the base color with a beautiful berry shade. Tiny white rose details bring out the best in your magnificent mani.
2. Lines + Jewels: There’s a lot going on with this mani — and we love it all! Yes, a light pink/neutral polish is seasonless, but the shattered glass embellishments (which are so hot right now) keep it distinctly fall 2016.
3. Romantic Red: Nothing is more classic than an apple red mani. Crystal embellishments nestled at the bed of your nail take it into must-have territory.

4. Gucci-Inspired: You don’t have to spend a ton to get a totally designer look on your wedding day. This nail design is straight off the runways of NYFW and incorporates all the elements of Gucci’s iconic Dionysus look.

5. Nude Chevron: Neutral nails never go out of style, but with a few geometric elements and a negative space design, your wedding day mani turns into Insta-bait. Don’t forget — a little bit of glitter can go a long way.
6. Hearts on Fire: What’s the perfect equation for a romantic mani on your big day? Combine a nude base with red hearts and crystal embellishments FTW.
7. Gold Hearts: Show some subtle love with this adorable heart pattern. While the colors don’t necessarily scream fall, this look is so cute, we love it any time of year.
8. Glam Filigree: Looking for a more subtle way to take your digits in a seasonal direction? Try experimenting with a deeper shade of pink with bronze filigree accents.

9. All That Glitters: Because sometimes a lady needs a little sparkle… especially on her big day. Keep your base coat a neutral tone of blush or cream for a style that reads more “I do” than holiday.

10. Arrows: A red-to-black gradient is fab for fall. Add on gold adornments, like arrows and dots, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a wedding look.
11. Fuchsia Negative Space Nails: A modern interpretation of a classic French mani, this high-impact design is gorgeous and glam. The best part is, it can be executed in a variety of seasonal shades to match your wedding theme.
12. I Do: Glitter adds a touch of something special to this stunning berry shade. And, of course, the pièce de résistance: “I do” written in gold script.
13. Matte Florals: Nail art lovers, rejoice! Vampy berry matte meets soft pink, florals, crystals and silver foil stripes for a style that will upgrade any wedding day mani.
14. Silver Bands: Simple yet modern all at the same time. Striking silver bands brighten up this nude mani. Just imagine how gorgeous this will look with your new bling!

18. Something Blue: Not all nail art has to include a delicate design. By simply choosing a few shades of blue, you can get your digits wedding-ready.
19. Color-Blocked Mani: For brides who want something a little modern with classic accents, this geo design is for you. It’s easy to execute — all you need are a few polish shades and some tape for a Mondrian-inspired style.

20. Gold Tips: Think of this as the French mani’s more fashionable (and festive) cousin. Burgundy and gold is a classic yet always-stunning seasonal color combo.
21. Feminine Florals: More daring, non-traditional brides will love this matte black mani. The tiny florals bring an old-world, botanical charm to the overall look. Does this mean our digits count as our “something old?” Either way, we’re sold.

22. Fresh French: Take a timeless French mani to the next level with rose and thorn decals. This nail art screams edgy and elegant.

25. Brocade: Keep it classy with a burgundy brocade that mixes in touches of cream. It’s perfect for more formal occasions — like, say, your wedding!
26. Matte Merlot: We’ve said it before — matte is a mega trend you need to try ASAP. A band of crystals adds an unmistakably bridal finishing touch.
27. Sparkly Stripes: Chevron and diagonal stripes in a metallic gold look gorgeous against this wine base color. The best part is that it doesn’t scream bridal, so you can rock it well after your guests have gone home.

28. Blinged Out: For wedding-worthy nails that wow, look no further than this dazzling design. The matte top coat keeps it modern, while the mega bling adds a double dose of wow factor.

It can be intimidating to step out on your own and build a business from the ground up. As part of our collaboration with Office Depot, we're talking with Selfmade alum and solopreneur Colette Lawrence, the faith-based motivator and relationship builder behind The M.E.E. Movement, about ways in which women in business can find success.
B + C: How did you know M.E.E. Movement was your business to start?
The M.E.E Movement represents motivation, empowerment, and encouragement for women. It is what represents me. I did not know at first that it was my business to start, but then the thought of monetizing what I loved came to me. It scared me, however. I registered the business in July 2020 and have been slowly building my wings since.
B + C: What's one strategy that's helped you start your business?
Thinking through and researching what the requirements are to start my business, and then asking questions of people who are in the business. Not all advice worked; however, it helped me to figure out what I needed to do and not to do.
B + C: Did you always know life coaching would be your entrepreneurial path?
(Smiles) No, I did not. I 'stumbled" on it. I knew that people were always coming to me for advice and I found that I loved having conversations with them, especially with women, young and old.
B + C: What was your most valuable takeaway from Selfmade?
My most valuable takeaway was the first day of training: Get out of your own way. There were a lot of great moments and important takeaways from every presenter. However, getting out of my own way, pushing past doubts, was for me my most valuable takeaway. Doing something that I had never done before took courage. If I do not focus on what is happening with me mentally then I cannot deliver to my clients successfully.
B + C: What's one piece of advice you would give to female entrepreneurs on the brink of starting?
Get out of your head. You have something to offer. You have what you need to succeed so go ahead and do it.
B + C: How do you stay motivated?
I stay motivated by listening to music and listening to motivational speakers, and sometimes someone will just reach out and talk about the impact that I made in their life. That adds the extra juice or sauce I need to pummel through the day.
B + C: What's your best organizational tip?
Keep a diary and journal. It's the best way for me to keep organized and it also provides a source motivation as I record not only my "losses" but my wins as well.
B + C: Who inspires you in the entrepreneurial space?
Shirley Toliver – She motivates and empowers and makes me always want to show up.
B + C: What has receiving the Office Depot scholarship to Selfmade done to help you start or grow your business?
The scholarship was a blessing in that all the areas that were covered offered valuable information that I needed, from social media to HR. As a new business owner, I needed to know this to increase my own personal awareness in what it takes to run a successful business. The candidness of the presenters made it easy to see myself in their shoes and helped me to realize that I can also get there.
Thanks Colette! You can follow The M.E.E. Movement on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
