Happy Place is the latest in a line of pop-up experiences (see: The Color Factory, The Museum of Ice Cream) designed to evoke emotions and inspire endless selfies. Located in downtown Los Angeles' Arts District, the exhibit runs now through January 7 (tickets are currently on sale for $28.50) and is centered around — as you probably guessed from the name — bringing a little extra happiness to everyone's life.
After the trying year that has been 2017, Happy Place provides a temporary reprieve from the somber realities of today. The colorful rooms are moments of positivity — a giant birthday cake; a pot of gold to jump into; a field of flowers to pop out of; and confetti, always confetti — and along the way, there is sugar to be had, smiles to be given, and 'grams to be taken. Here's a sneak peek of what 20,000 square feet of good vibes looks like.

The entrance reminds you: Don't worry, be happy.
A seven-foot-high high heel is made of over one million candies.
As you peruse the rooms, you can eat custom made M&Ms.
One room with whimsical wallpaper is the ideal spot for selfies and shoefies.
Hugs and kisses welcome here.

The birthday room welcomes you with a smile and cake pop.
The only thing better than birthday cake is a giant birthday cake.
Pop up into a field of flowers in the marigold room.
This upside down is much less frightening than the one in Stranger Things.
Rainbows and reflections.
Live. Laugh. Love. Repeat.
Most places have a ball pit. Happy Place has a ball tub, surrounded by rubber ducks.
Mirrored selfie rooms FTW.
Found: pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. You can make like Scrooge McDuck and jump into the gold coins.
Reminders to smile are at every corner.
The world's largest confetti dome. There's also a room to make confetti snow angels.
At the end of the experience is a indoor backyard complete with nostalgic treats like popsicles, lemonade, and rainbow grilled cheese sandwiches.
Grab a lemonade on your way out.
Leave with a smile.
