Here’s How Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and More Stars Are Paying Tribute to the Victims of the Las Vegas Shooting
As the number of deaths and injuries continues to rise in the wake of the senseless shooting in Las Vegas, people all over the world have taken to social media to express their grief. Here’s how celebs are paying tribute to those we’ve lost.
Taylor Swift took to Twitter to share her feelings, which mirror what many of us are experiencing right now. “There are no words to express the helplessness and sorrow my broken heart feels for the victims in Vegas and their families,” she wrote.
Karlie Kloss sent her support to the victims and their families, and also thanked the first responders — and anyone else who stepped up to selflessly put their lives on the line to save others.
Ariana Grande, who lived through a similar tragedy when a bombing occurred at her concert in Manchester this past May, called for love and unity amid the hateful act.
And Lin-Manuel Miranda offered up suggestions for ways to help.
He also reminded people to do what they need to do to take care of themselves.
Lady Gaga is also taking action today, though in a different way. She called for a group “meditation/silence/prayer” that she’ll lead through her Instagram Live. You can take part at 3:30pm PST. She explained, “My intention is to connect us all through inner peace. I believe we can calm inflammation in the world 🌎 by calming each other.”
Most stars are simply shocked and heartbroken, and are sending their love to the victims and anyone else who’s hurting right now.
