Katy Perry and Heidi Klum Honor BFF Minnie Mouse As She (Finally) Gets Her Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
Yesterday was National Polka Dot Day, and who better to embody the holiday than Minnie Mouse? The iconic Disney character, who has inspired countless (polka dot-centric!) fashion collections, was finally immortalized on the Hollywood walk of fame — and she invited her fashion-forward friends, Katy Perry and Heidi Klum, to join her in celebration. The “Swish Swish” singer was tasked with presenting the Disney character with her star.
The 33-year-old donned a flouncy red flamenco-style minidress with white polka dots a la Minne, who wore a sparklier version of her iconic red and white polka dot garb. “Don’t ask who wore it best cause it will forever be my dear friend Minerva Mouse👏🏻❗️” the songstress exclaimed in an Instagram post. “So delighted to help my gal celebrate her well deserved star on the walk of fame after 90 years of making the world smile! ❤️”

The Project Runway host went a more traditional route with black Minnie mouse ears, a classic red lip, and a black and white polka dot dress. “Congratulations Minnie!” she gushed in an Instagram post, “You are the ultimate it girl, fashionista and friend…Thank you for always reminding me to embrace my inner child and stay young at heart forever.” Rodger that!
