Kelsea Ballerini has had quite the fashionable year! She kicked things off by attending the Grammys as a Best New Artist nominee in one of the prettiest looks of the evening, then slayed the red carpets at the ACM and CMT Awards — all before releasing her second studio album, Unapologetically, last month. Now, she’s followed that up with another HUGE life milestone and a major style moment to boot: her wedding!
Jetting off to the Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the 24-year-old tied the knot with her 32-year-old Australian singer-songwriter beau, Morgan Evans, in an intimate oceanside ceremony on Saturday, as reported by People.
While the groom wore a crisp white suit by Joseph Abboud paired with a plain white shirt sans tie, the bride stunned in a white lace number by Berta which featured a statement-making scoop back. It was just as the country darling teased back in October, when she revealed to People that her dress was “really simple and classic. It’s not super sparkly, it’s not over-the-top. That’s the kind of stuff I love when I’m doing the CMAs or whatever.”
She kept her makeup to a minimum and left her signature blonde locks flowing loosely down her back.
Family and friends looked on as the lovebirds exchanged vows, then reportedly sealed the deal with David Yurman rings, engraved with personal messages on the inside. How sweet!
The pair, who began dating in March 2016 after cohosting the CMC Awards in Australia, got engaged on Christmas Day last year, an unforgettable moment the “Miss Me More” singer documented on Instagram.
“This morning, 9 months and 13 days later, he got down on one knee in the kitchen while I was burning pancakes and asked me to marry him,” she wrote. “Loving him has been the greatest gift of my life. And now I get to do it for life.” Aww!
Congrats, you crazy lovebirds!
