New Baby Names, First Photos + More of What’s Up This Week in Celebrity Baby News
We’re not sure what’s in the air, but the next generation of celebrities seem to be arriving faster than we can say “Baby Bjorn.” From Instagram reveals to baby name announcements, there sure is some big news surrounding these little tikes. Here are a few celebs who marked some major family milestones this week.
1. Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson: Ukrainian-born actress Milla Jovovich gave birth to her second baby on Wednesday. Just a few hours after the birth the actress released this adorable snap of her newborn. Next to the photo she wrote, “We are so proud to announce the birth of our second daughter Ms. Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson today!!! She is 7lbs. 10 oz. and 20 inches long! We love you Dash!” If you’re wondering what that unique name means — well, it actually doesn’t mean much. The name is thought to be derivative of the old French surname “de Chiel” and transformed into Dashiel over time. (via @millajovovich)
2. Reign Aston Disick: While Kourtney revealed the name of her third baby back in December, we’d yet to catch a glimpse of the little one. Kourtney caught us by surprise on Thursday when she released this sweet shot alongside the caption, “My little turtle dove angel baby Reign Aston Disick.” (via @kourtneykardash)
3. Isaiah Michael Fisher: After Carrie Underwood’s first baby was born on February 27th, Carrie released a snap of the baby boy’s hand and revealed his name… and not much else. Now, just over a month later, the singer posted this adorable shot of her babe holding a tiny hockey stick for dad Mike Fisher’s team, the Predators. The caption reads, “The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up! #PutMeInCoach” (via @carrieunderwood)
4. Ioni James Conran: The award for most photogenic baby most definitely goes to model Coco Rocha’s newborn girl. Coco Rocha announced on Instagram that she and her husband welcomed their first daughter Ioni James Conran this past Saturday. She was only hours old when her first Instagrams were shot, but she seems to have already mastered some total model poses – it’s no wonder she’s an instant Instagram star. (via @cocorocha)
