Stuff Your Stockings With These Oreo Pretzel Snowflakes
You put up the tree, bought everyone on your list presents and even planned what you’re going to make for Christmas Eve dinner (lookin’ at you, winter roast). But even though you might consider yourself Santa’s little helper, you still have to knock one thing off your to-do list: Christmas stocking stuffers. We say wow everyone (including Grandma) this year by creating Oreo pretzel snowflakes. All you need are Oreos, mini pretzels and white melting chocolate, and boom, everyone has something sweet and delicious to snack on while they open the rest of their presents. Need this recipe in your life ASAP? Check out all of the deets, below.
Ingredients:
- Double Stuff Oreos
- mini pretzels
- half a cup of white melting candy
- blue edible glitter
Instructions:
1. With each individual Oreo, carefully insert a mini pretzel into the creme filling. Insert the pretzels at different angles or break them apart to create different types of snowflakes.
2. In a microwave or double boiler, melt the white candy chocolate.
3. With a spoon or spatula, carefully dip the “snowflakes” into the white candy chocolate until they are completely covered. Then place on wax paper until each snowflake completely dries.
4. Before the snowflakes harden, lightly sprinkle the blue edible sugar over each one. Less is more.
5. Place them into a bag, and stuff them in a stocking!
