This PB Kids + Monique Lhuillier Collab = Seriously Dreamy Kids Room Decor
Pottery Barn has been killing it with their latest collections, and the newest addition to their collab family is none other than bridal designer Monique Lhuillier. How does one of the go-to designers for ultra-elegant bridal fashion decorate a kid’s room? With lots and lots of tulle. The designer turned her glam aesthetic into a dreamy new 120-piece collection for Pottery Barn Kids that’s perfect for nurseries, bedrooms and princesses of all ages. As a mother, Monique wanted to create a line that would allow each child to have a room that reflected their own personality and was whimsical and modern without compromising functionality. Scroll on for all the dreamy details and fanciful florals.
Monique wanted her bedroom collections to be a mini oasis for both parents and kids. To create magical nurseries, she took inspiration from her bridal gowns. She created a playful Blush Tutu bedskirt ($69), Blush Petal Canopy ($199) and hand-painted floral patterns for the Sateen Duvet Cover ($32+) and bedding. The soothing color palette of blush pink and sea foam green blends luxe materials of linen and leather to create the ultimate oasis.
While most of the collection focuses on pastels, there is one bedroom that has a bold blue personality. The Seashore Bedroom line was inspired by Monique’s son and his love of all things nautical. Your child can sail away into dream land with the Malibu Clear Complete Lamps ($159), quirky Gull Decorative throw pillows ($39) and whimsical Oil Painted Art ($39). But don’t let the kids have all the fun — these elements would be great for the grown-ups looking to inject a little summer into the rest of the home.
It’s every kid’s dream to have a bedroom or playroom that is pure magic, made from fairy-tale fantasies + nautical adventures. And it’s every parent’s dream to have stunning furniture pieces that will grow with your kids or that you can steal for other rooms in the house. Whether you’re decorating a nursery or your own bedroom, make sure you check out the whole luxurious collection at PBkids!
