This Tape-Free Gift Wrap Hack Is Genius

Coming up with new and inventive ways to wrap holiday gifts can be tough, but that’s why we’re here — to inspire you to think outside of the (gift) box. This year, rather than securing your gift wrap with tape, try stitching it. Use craft paper and colorful thread to make the most adorable gifts hands down.

First

Materials and Tools:

materials

– brown craft paper

– colorful thread

– embroidery (or other large) needle

– scissors

– pencil

– adorable gifts to put inside

These amazing ankle socks are great holiday gifts :)

Step1

Double up your paper, then draw the shape you want and cut it out. Using a long piece of thread, whip stitch around the edge of the shape, leaving one side open.

Step2

Add your gift through the opening, then stitch it closed.

Final

Make a variety of shapes using different colored thread and you’ll have a darling little group of prezzies for your friends and fam.
