What is 'The Crow Girl' about?

The Crow Girl, which is based on the novel of the same name, zooms in on the life of Jeanette Kihlberg, a wife, mother, and lead detective. She already has way too much chaos on her plate from the mistreatment she receives at home, but that’s little in comparison to the crimes she must solve on an average workday.
As it turns out, there’s a serial killer on the loose, who doesn’t hold back when it comes to his murder sprees. Brutal, violent, and ambitious to destroy more lives, this murderer will stop at nothing in order to capture the attention of the police force.
“They want our attention,” a chief officer says of the killer to Jeanette.
“They’ve bloody got it,” she quips back, unable to process anything else but the town’s current state of peril. What can she do to stop this psycho from his vicious attacks and destruction of pure evil? And who will be there to help her along the way?
