This New App Is Pinterest for Tattoo Lovers
Getting a tattoo is a BIG decision. After all, chances are whatever art you pick out will likely be there forever. With so many options — everything from minimalist line tattoos and gorgeous rose tattoos to wedding ring tattoos — finding inspiration can be overwhelming. And sure, trying on some temporary tattoos is a fun way to get a feel for what could be permanent ink, but sometimes you just need a little extra inspo when making your final decision. Insert Tattoodo.
Tattoodo, a digital community for all things tattoo-related, just launched their free mobile app, available on iOS and Android. Co-founded by world famous tattoo artist and Miami Ink alum Ami James, the new mobile app is best described as Pinterest’s badass cousin who’s obsessed with tattoos.
Now you can find the tattoo content you crave through categories and tags, and share and compare your own ink with others. You can also view the latest designs by renowned tattoo artists showcasing their albums and even get an inside look at their shop and some of their past work.
Ami said about the launch of the app, “Our community keeps growing every day and is so active. We get pictures of users’ tattoos sent to us all the time, so we are excited to provide them with a community platform where they are able to share their artwork and find the content they want, no matter where they are.”
In addition to showing off and browsing tattoos, the Tattoodo app will also bring users the latest tattoo news, searchable categories so you can filter for what you want and access to an ambassador program, so you can follow star tattoo artists like Chris Garver and Megan Massacre, all from the palm of your hand.
