Editor’s Note: This gift wrap kit promotion is currently closed. Scroll on for three clever gift wrap tips!

How do you get your hands on one of these gorgeous gift wrap kits? All you have to do is spend $75 or more in the Brit + Co Shop and you get it for FREE, while supplies last! Seriously. You can stock up on gifts for everyone on your list — your sister who loves delicate jewelry, your brother-in-law who’s always wanted to brew his own beer and maybe even yourself ;) We’re here to make sure you’re one step closer to winning the gift wrap game this Christmas.

Follow along for three quick and easy gift wrapping hacks you can replicate with your Ultimate Gift Wrap Kit. From making your own metallic ribbon (!!) to pretty pretty pinwheels, we’ve got you covered.

Tools + Materials (all available in our Ultimate Gift Wrap Kit!):

  • 9 sheets of printed wrapping paper
  • 6 printed gift tags
  • red baker’s twine
  • Scotch® Magic™ Tape
  • Scotch® GiftWrap Tape
  • Scotch® Expressions Metallic Tape
  • Scotch™ Precision Ultra Edge Titanium Non-Stick Scissors

How awesome are those patterns? Fa la la la la, la la la la! Time to get wrapping.

Metallic Tape Toppers

This first gift wrap hack is one of our all-time favorites. Grab a roll of Scotch® Expressions Metallic Tape and lay it across your wrapped gifts in place of ribbon! Make sure to wrap it all the way around for clean, seamless look.

To turn this awesome tape into a bow gift topper, simply stick a two long strips together, so that both sticky sides are facing each other. Then loop your double-sided strip over a few times, pinch the folds at the bottom together and secure with Scotch® Magic™ Tape. Now all that’s left to do is make yourself a good ol’ tape loop and stick it onto the top of your wrapped gift.

Paper Pinwheel Toppers

This second technique was inspired by our favorite paper pinwheel party backdrops. It turns out the miniature versions make insanely cute and easy gift toppers.

Just cut a small rectangle out of your wrapping paper, fold it accordion-style and bend in half to create a half-pinwheel. Secure with a small piece Scotch® GiftWrap Tape to hold the two sides of your accordion fan together in the middle. Repeat for the second half and tape together to make a full circle pinwheel or just pop a half-pinwheel on top of your wrapped gift.

POM POM TOPPERS

This third topper technique uses your spool of bakers twine to make fun little pom poms that easily stick on top of a gift with Scotch® Magic™ Tape.

Pom poms are as easy as wrapping twine around your fingers, tying a small piece of string around the middle and then cutting the two loops on either side using your Scotch™ Precision Ultra Edge Titanium Non-Stick Scissors. Give your pom pom a little extra haircut to round it out and stick it right on top of your wrapped gift using Scotch® Magic™ Tape.

Three techniques from three types of Scotch® Brand Tape, three styles of wrapping paper, twine, gift tags and a pair of scissors. Easy as that!

Again, you can get all these goodies in our Ultimate Gift Wrap Kit, free with a purchase of $75 or more in the Brit + Co Shop. So what are you waiting for? Time to start holiday shopping!
