How to Throw the Most Colorful Fiesta-Themed Fête Ever!

Y’all ready for this? We are throwing down, color explosion style. And you know who our partner in all of this is? Method, of course! For this next installment of our Clean Happy series, we’re throwing the most colorful fiesta ever, right in time for Cinco de Mayo. Watch the video above for lots of hue-tiful color inspiration, and follow along below to see how to create your own festive fête.

When it comes to making your own party decor, a mess is always gonna happen. Don’t worry — it’ll be worth it! Just make sure you arm yourself with plenty of Method cleaning products to help with the mandatory clean-up. For this particular party, we thought Method’s Lime and Sea Salt collection was a perfect match. Though we must warn you, it’ll instantly make you wish you had a margarita in hand ;)

Now without further ado, here are the 10 must-dos to make your party a total success.

1. Throw Unexpected Pops of Color into Your Planters: First off, you have to get some flora on that table. If you’re like us, you have a few succulents hanging around your apartment. Add some pep to them by painting rocks and pebbles in vibrant colors. Then adorn your plants with them!

How fun are those?

Create a Dirty Dish Station

Next up, create a place for all the messy dishes to go. You’ll thank yourself later. To create ours, we set up three buckets for utensils, cups and glasses and made them super sudsy with Method Dish Soap. Oh and that sign? We laser cut that awesomeness.

3. Add Some Fringe to Your Cupcakes: To create fringed cupcake toppers, all you need is a few squares of colored tissue paper. Fold your tissue paper, then cut to create fringe. Take a toothpick, kebab stick or lollipop stick and cover in glue. Then wrap the fringed tissue piece around it. Repeat with alternating colors as you like. Then pop ’em in your cupcakes.

Who knew mini cupcakes could be even cuter?

Dip Your Chairs in Bright Colors

Next up, we’re going all out with our chairs. We got these folding chairs on Amazon, painted them white and then dipped them in color. Check out this tutorial for the full how-to.

5. Make a Festive Fringed Runner: Creating a fringed runner is easier than it looks. All you do is layer pieces of fringed tissue paper on top of one another, and glue with good old Elmer’s glue. We used a piece of craft paper as the base.

6. Add Blocks of Gold and Color to Square Vases: For another way to amp up the greenery you’ve got on deck, try color blocking mini white vases. We used gold tape to create gold stripes and acrylic paint for a blast of color. As always, keep Method All-Purpose Cleaner on hand to keep your workspace tidy.

We love how these look with those funky cacti.

Turn Fabric Strips into a Conversation-Worthy Piece of Ceiling Decor

What’s that colorful loveliness you keep seeing at the top of these shots? A fabric chandelier of sorts made with strips of jersey-knit fabric. Head here to see how to make your own.

8. Use Citrus to Amp Up Your Centerpiece: Don’t have time (or the funds) to go for a custom floral centerpiece? For this simple hack, we just hit up the farmer’s market to stock up on pre-made bouquets and citrus. That’s right, citrus! You can use them whole or line the sides of vases with slices of limes, lemons and oranges and you’ve got something that smells just about as good as it looks.

9. Make Sure Your Friends Know to Dress on Theme: What would a Brit + Co. party be without a fashion theme? The brighter the colors, the better.

10. Take Plenty of Selfies!: But first, let me take a #selfie! ;)

Fans who were left on the edge of their seats after watching the first part of AHS: Delicate last year won't have to wait longer for part two! Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are gearing up to pick up where their characters left off, and sinister twists are about to get much darker. While we know the focus revolves around their interactions, we can't wait to see how Gilmore Girls star Matt Czuchry fits into what's sure to be a big reveal.

Read on for a mini recap of part one of AHS: Delicateand learn all the juicy details about part two!

Recap of Kim Kardashian's involvement in AHS: Delicate

Kim Kardashian as 'Siobhan' in "American Horror Story: Delicate"

As good as Kim Kardashian is as the icy publicist Siobhan on AHS: Delicate, don't expect her to watch herself onscreen. She appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and explained why she hasn't seen herself in clips of the show when Jimmy Kimmel played and unsettling one.

Her character can be seen intimidating a fertility doctor to do her bidding as she pierces the top of his neck with a long orange fingernail. She smiled before saying "It's so funny, I can't watch it back," and then added, "I get so nervous."

She even talked about the difference between filming for TV and working as an actual actress. She said, "I called my sisters and I go, 'Guys. You — not to say you'd ever want to get into acting — but you are so lucky you can wake up and just, we can sit in bed and film, and you don't have to get up...like there is no schedule."

However, it seems like the budding actress took her new schedule in stride because Star Trek actor and AHS co-star Zachary Quinto applauded Kardashian’s acting chops.

“I did a cameo on this season of ‘American Horror Story’ and I got to meet her,” the actor told People. “She was so lovely and warm and, really, I don’t think she needs my advice.” Quinto added, sharing that Kardashian, was “really in her element” on set and he was “really impressed by her spirit and her openness…I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she’s gonna do a wonderful job.”

Recap of AHS: Delicate Part 1

Image via FX Networks

The first part of AHS: Delicate premiered on FX September 20, 2023 and centered around actress Anna Victoria Alcott's desire to become a mother. Played by Emma Roberts, viewers watched as her husband Dexter Harding (played by Matt Czuchry) was supportive of her IVF procedure so the couple could conceive their first child. Despite the previous struggles, the procedure is a success and the happy couple learn they have a baby on the way.

However, things go horribly wrong when Anna starts being followed and eventually experiences a violent miscarriage during her first trimester. Somehow the baby actually survives, but Anna still experiences a series of strange hallucinations and events. From losing her hair to vomiting a foreign object, she starts to wonder if something is wrong with her baby. There's also the fact that she told her publicist Siobhan (played by Kim Kardashian) that she'd do anything to remain at the top of the her career.

What's revealed is that a baby cult does exist and Dexter's dead first wife knew all about it. However, the cult still looks at him as a threat so it's only a matter of time before they close in.

If you need a refresher, catch up on the first part of AHS: Delicate on Hulu and be sure to check out the eery trailer for a look at part two! Also, get your hands on a copy of Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition to see how the story truly unfolds.

American Horror Story: Delicate Part Two | Official Trailer - Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian | FX

We suspected Siobhan may have a darker role than Anna thinks and the trailer confirms it. As Anna gets further along in her pregnancy, it's hinted that her growing baby may not be 'normal' and there's nothing she'll be able to do about it.

We're crossing our fingers for Anna and Dexter, but the baby cult may have the final say in AHS: Delicate Part 2.

The first portion of AHS: Delicate Part 2 premiered on FX April 3, 2024, but the series will come to a close beginning April 24. All we can say is things are about to get extremely bumpy 👀.

What do you think will happen during the final moments of AHS: Delicate Part 2? Let us know in the comments!

As the weather warms up and more and more people take to the streets and trails to pick up jogging or training for their next race, you might be wondering where to start your own running journey. As a lifelong runner, 4x marathoner, and former running store employee, I believe that finding the the best running shoes for you is the first step to falling in love with running.

There are a few things to look for when buying a running shoe. If you want the personalized experience, I recommend going to a run specialty store to get fitted and have your gait analyzed. However, here are some basic tips to help if you don’t want to do that.

Image via MarathonFoto.com

First, most people wear their running shoes too small. Almost everyone I have had to fit for running shoes for the first time has had to go a half to a full size up. Remember:

  • Running shoes do not stretch like leather shoes
  • Running shoes should notneed a break in period
  • Your feet do swell when you're running and walking

A good rule to follow is that you should have a finger tip’s length between your longest toe and the end of the shoe. This ensures your feet can swell properly, you won’t lose toenails, and you'll have less risk of injuries like plantar fasciitis and shin splints.

Next, there are two types of running shoes: neutral and stability shoes.

  • Neutral shoes are for people who do not overpronate
  • Stability shoes are for those who do overpronate.

Overpronation is when one’s arches and ankles collapse/roll inwards when standing on one leg, running, or walking. If you have low arches or flat feet, you will likely need a stability shoe as it will provide better arch support. Many people assume that if you have high arches you need a stability shoe with more arch support, but this is rarely the case. If you have a high arch and a neutral gait (no overpronation), you should let your feet and ankles do the work and not rely on a stability shoe. Luckily there are dozens of options for both types of feet, so let’s get into some of my favorites.

Best Running Shoes For Neutral Runners

Brooks Glycerin 21

The Glycerin 21 is a popular, highly-cushioned running shoe from Brooks. The Glycerin has become a fan favorite for its soft feel and unmatched bounce. Plus, being in its 21st iteration, you can feel secure knowing that the Glycerin has served runners well for years.

Best Running Shoes For Stability Runners

Asics GT 2000 12

The Asics GT 2000 version 12 is a lightweight and bouncy stability option from Asics. Many stability shoes feel heavy and clunky, but Asics has found a way to alleviate overpronation without sacrificing lightweight performance

Best Running Shoes For Trail Running

Brooks Cascadia 17

If you’re looking to hit the trails for a run, getting a shoe with better traction and grip is the best option. Trail shoes have lugs on the outsole that help with stabilizing your feet on wet rocks and slick mud. The Brooks Cascadia is a no frills, do it all shoe that will make trail miles fly by in comfort.

Best Running Shoes For A Lightweight Option

Hoka Mach 6

Whether you're doing sprints on the treadmill or have a 5k goal race in mind, a lightweight running shoe may be the best option for you. The Hoka Mach 6 is a neutral running shoe that weighs less than most shoes on the market, making it perfect if you want to pick up the pace or feel less weighed down.

Best Running Shoes For Looks

On Cloudeclipse

Although this is super subjective, I think On has some of the best looking running shoes out there. With a chunky midsole and a unique look, the On Cloudeclipse delivers on fashion and function. While this shoe may be categorized as neutral, there are stability elements, such as a plastic speedboard to add rigidity to the foam, making it a great shoe for people with all arch types.

Get ready to see your favorite unintentional workplace feminists hit the screen with Jennifer Aniston's reimagining of the classic comedy 9 to 5. It debuted in theaters in the early '80s, and it actually helped people start having real conversations about barriers women faced while working.

It's true that we've seen advancements since then, but we're still living in a time where certain laws (hi, reproductive rights!) have the underbelly of reverting back to a time where women didn't have a voice or choice when it came to things like working outside the home, voting, or even buying a house of their own.

Many of the women I know work in more traditional 9 to 5 roles, so it'll be interesting to see how Jennifer Aniston plans to approach this move in a modern way. Keep reading for the deets on everything we know!

What's the original plot for 9 to 5?

Image via 20th Century Fox

The 1980 version of 9 to 5 follows three women — Doralee Rhodes (Dolly Parton), Violet Newstead (Lily Tomlin), and Judy Bernly (Jane Fonda) — as they navigate working for their sexist and cringey boss Franklin Hart, Jr. (Dabney Coleman). Through trial and error, they eventually find a way to outwit the system that's pitted against them to demand to be treated with respect in the workplace.

It's full of hilarious moments and one-liners that helped solidify it's importance in pop culture.

Who is Jennifer Aniston producing "9 to 5" with?

Image via Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Aniston and her Echo Films partner Kristin Hahn are producing the new adaptation of 9 to 5.

Aniston will produce the project that is in development through her Echo Films banner, alongside her partner Kristin Hahn. Oscar-winning Juno writer Diablo Cody will pen the script. She’s also written movies like Jennifer’s Body and, most recently, Lisa Frankenstein, starring Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton.

Who's in the cast of the new "9 to 5"?

Unfortunately it seems like the reboot of 9 to 5 is in the early stages. As soon as cast news is shared, we'll be sure to share it with you.

Honestly, I'd love to see Reese Witherspoon or Anne Hathaway make an appearance!

Who is writing the new "9 to 5" script?

Okay, this is a good one! Diabolo Cody, known for her amazing work on Juno and Lisa Frankenstein, will be applying her talents to the new script for 9 to 5.

Was there ever a spin-off of 9 to 5?

Yes! 9 to 5 became a sitcom on ABC where it ran from 1982 to 1983. Then two years ago Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton reunited to celebrated the greatness of 9 to 5 in a documentary called Still Working 9 to 5.
