Turn a Colorful Blanket into a Chic No-Sew Poncho

Ever love a blanket, tablecloth, or throw so much that you just want to… wear it? Us too! That’s why we took it upon ourselves to turn a colorful Mexican blanket into a poncho — no sewing required! Though this project is no-sew, it does involve a lot of steps and measurements. It took us about an hour to create, so might be best to file under weekend projects.

Materials:
– Mexican siesta blanket (or sarape)

– shoe lace (for pocket trim)

Tools:
– fabric scissors

– hot glue gun

– measuring tape

– pins

Instructions:

1. Fold blanket in half.

2. Measure length (27.5 inches) and width (31 inches) making marks so you know where to cut.

3. Cut out rectangle.

4. Starting at one end of the folded side, measure 7.5 inches and cut along fold.

5. On the open side, measure 12 inches and mark with a pin.

6. Hot glue the open side together.

7. Flip inside out.

8. Create a hem by gluing a small fold on all of the frayed sides including the collar you just cut.

9. Facing the poncho, on the right side measure 10 inches from the top (where your shoulder would be). This is where your pocket will go. Pin this measurement.

10. At an angle mirroring the edge where your shoulder will be, measure 5 inches for your pocket hole and cut.

11. Hem the edges of the pocket hole.

12. Using your shoe lace, measure around the edge of the pocket hole and cut to the correct size.

13. Glue the lace around the pocket hole.

14. From the blanket scraps, cut a 9×7 inch rectangle.

15. Glue the rectangle to the back of the pocket, making sure most of the material sits below the hole (so that your hand has a place to sit).

16. Repeat steps 10 through 15 on the other side, measuring 12 inches from the shoulder for placement rather than 10 inches.

If you don’t already have a blanket to transform, there’s a treasure trove of ’em over on Amazon!

First, fold your blanket it half to cut.

Then, measure length (27.5 inches) and width (31 inches) making marks so you know where to cut. The model (our awesome Ashley!) for this poncho is 5’3″, so you can lengthen or shorten accordingly. Cut out your rectangle.

Starting at one end of the folded side, measure 7.5 inches and cut along fold. This will be your collar!

Move to the open side of your poncho, measure 12 inches and mark with a pin.

Now, hot glue the open side together.

Flip your poncho inside out.

Create a hem by gluing a small fold on all of the frayed sides including the collar you just cut. Do this on every cut edge of your poncho.

Now, it’s time to create some pockets! Facing the poncho, on the right side measure 10 inches from the top (where your shoulder would be). This is where your pocket will go. Pin this measurement.

At an angle mirroring the edge where your shoulder will be, measure 5 inches for your pocket hole and cut.

Hem the edges of the pocket hole using the hot glue hem technique. Then, using your shoe lace, measure around the edge of the pocket hole and cut to the correct size. Glue the lace around the pocket hole to create a trim accent.

From the blanket scraps, cut two 9 x7 inch rectangles — these will be the insides of your pockets!

Glue the rectangle to the back of the pocket, making sure most of the material sits below the hole (so that your hand has a place to sit).

Repeat the pocket steps on the left side, but rather than measuring 10 inches from the top, measure 12 inches.

And that’s it!

We’re loving all the vibrant colors, especially on a brisk winter day here in San Francisco.

What other no-sew projects would you like us to try on here at Brit + Co.? Talk to us in the comments below.

We love a good beauty hack, from time-saving tips to discovering new beauty finds that make us feel confident and glowy for the season.

The B+C edit team recently swapped out our summer lip routine for City Beauty’s new plumping gloss, City Lips Sparkling Cider, and City Lips Night Oil, a smooth exfoliator that hydrates your lips while you sleep. I’m literally obsessed with it! They’re both Leaping Bunny-certified (AKA cruelty-free), and made without irritants or harsh chemicals. Plus, they plump more and more over time.

We all agreed the color looked great on our respective skin tones and the plumping factor didn’t sting like other plumping glosses. “I seriously can't believe it doesn't tingle when you apply it!,” said Jasmine, our staff editor. Read on for our full review of the City Lips Sparkling Cider plumping gloss and City Lips Night Oil, plus other City Beauty products!

Mallory Levy, Editorial Social Lead

The Cider lipgloss is great to have on hand in your car or on your desk for those last-minute touch-ups before your next Zoom call. “I love the soft sparkle. It’s not too flashy for work or casual outfits,” says Mallory. “It’s a great daytime shade to wear on no or light makeup days so I don’t look dead on Zoom calls.” LOL. It looks great layered on top of a base shade too. “I wore it on my anniversary and my husband loved it, “ says Mallory, who celebrated her first wedding anniversary. “He never notices my makeup!” She also found it less sticky than other lipglosses, which is a bonus when you have long hair on windy days.

Jasmine Williams, Staff Writer

Jasmine, who tends to avoid color on her lips, loves the color for fall. “I usually rely on clear lip oils whenever I wear makeup, but I can't get over how much Sparkling Cider reminds me of a golden sunset.” SAME. “Considering it's a plumping lip gloss, I'm shocked at how moisturizing it is. I only needed one coat to get the job done, but the smooth application made me add a few more.”

We all agreed there was no tingling effect, which was awesome. “It's not super sticky like some lip glosses tend to be,” adds Jasmine. “I can see myself reaching for Sparkling Cider no matter which fall outfit I choose to wear.”

Meredith Holser, Affiliate Writer

“I love the plumping component,” says Meredith. “I can definitely tell it’s working when I put it on, but it’s not overly distracting or painful. Plus, I notice a difference in the volume of my lips after applying!”

The color is also an ideal match for Meredith’s skin tone and lip color, though a bit more shimmery than the lip products she typically uses. I personally love the shimmer and it’s not too overwhelming. Meredith also really liked the City Lip Lip Oil. “The scent is very unique, almost floral,” she says. “The oil is definitely thicker than other lip oils I’ve tried, which is nice for the long-wear since you’re meant to apply it at night and let it soak in.”

Theresa Gonzalez, Branded Editor

As someone with naturally thin lips, I love the lip oil too and agree it feels weightier than other oils, which is part of its appeal. The gloss color is super pretty over my neutral base, especially for a fall look.

As the only (tired) mom on the edit team, I appreciated the Lid Lifting Treatment and was surprised how quickly I noticed a lift! I applied it at night and in the morning with a small dab on my lids, and I felt that I looked visibly more awake! It nourishes your skin too to soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It makes a great primer for eye makeup too.

Want to try it yourself? Upgrade your lip routine this fall with City Beauty’s new City Lips Sparkling Cider plumping lipgloss, and City Lips Night Oil!

Gilmore Girls fans rejoice! The I Am All In rewatch podcast might be nearing the final episode of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, but host Scott Patterson, who played Luke Danes on the hit show from 2000-2007, and in the 2016 revival, says we shouldn't "memorialize" the podcast just yet.

"We might have a little life left in us," he tells Brit + Co exclusively ahead of Sullivan's Crossing season 2. While he can't reveal any details, he does promise "there is a little bit of an announcement coming."

Saeed Adyani/Netflix

Patterson has hosted I Am All In since 2021, and while we've all rewatched our favorite Gilmore Girls episodes hundreds of times, the podcast actually serves as his first viewing! "We've just been having a great time. It's been life changing, it's been just a delight to get to watch the show," he says. "I've never seen the show. So I get to sit there and with my critical eye, you know. We break these episodes down, we're having a lot of fun doing it. And we're being honest about it."

At the inception of the podcast, he told the rest of team (made up of Danielle Romo, Tara Soudbaksh, Suzanne French, and Amy Sugarman) that he didn't want to follow a "rigid" structure.

"I thought, you know, let's just play some jazz here," he says. "People interrupt each other, if you get into an argument, that's okay, if you disagree and it gets a little tense, that's okay...I wanna hear everybody's opinions too. It's not just mine. There's four other voices there, and they're smarter than I am and they're really good at this."

While the rewatch podcast looks to the past, we can't help but think about the future — and another potential Gilmore Girls reunion. And Scott Patterson admits he's "always hopeful" when it comes to getting everyone back together (even if it would require a lot of schedules to line up).

But the actor is looking forward to potentially revisiting the character of Luke, and all the challenges that come with it. Especially since A Year in the Life, which takes plays nine years after the Gilmore Girls season 7 finale, threw the actors some unexpected curveballs.

"We have a Rory that's not successful and is struggling with life," Patterson says. "It's just sort of turned into another kind of a show because there was always so much hope with Rory. It was basically the theme of the show, other than the Lorelai's relationship with her family, Emily and Richard. But I think that was a tough pill to swallow watching Rory struggle so much, and the fact that Luke and Lorelai didn't have any children, they didn't even have one, that they weren't married."

Neil Jacobs/Netflix

Despite these unexpected moments and arcs, Patterson has been loving his watch! "I thought so far they've done a great job because I'm really kind of loving these [miniseries] episodes," he says. "I read the reviews. I know people aren't real happy with them. I was thrilled with 'Summer.' I thought it was really kind of crazy and experimental, and it took a lot of risks...I've been thoroughly entertained, I really have. And that's really the point, isn't it?"

While he doesn't have any news on any kind of reunion, he does point out that the show's 25th anniversary is coming up next October. "Wouldn't it be nice to announce something for the 25th anniversary? Who the heck knows?"

This interview has been edited for length and clarity.

My daughter goes back to school in a few weeks and I’m bracing myself for the usual morning routine hustle. The juggle is real! At the end of her third grade year in May, though, we were getting to school on time consistently without the mad rush out of the house – with teeth actually brushed and homework in a backpack!

As someone who hasn’t ever had a cavity (for real!), oral health is important to me and I want it to be important to her too. I get it though, it’s boring!

But we’ve recently tried Boka n-Ha Toothpaste, a fluoride-free, non-toxic toothpaste for adults and kids that actually tastes delicious. She literally is excited to brush her teeth now. She loves their new flavor Boka Strawberry Mango. There’s also Orange Cream and Watermelon Mint – yum! Now when I ask if she’s brushed her teeth, I’m becoming less surprised when the answer is a resounding yes.

(The n-Ha stands for nano hydroxyapatite, a natural mineral that’s great for gum health like removing plaque and avoiding tartar build up as well as enamel repair.) Use code BOKABRIT15 on both Amazon and Boka.com for 15 percent off!

Here are more ways I’ve given my kiddo Matilda a little more incentive to brush her teeth, her hair, and get to school bright eyed and ready for the day.

Create A Chalkboard Checklist

I found this removable chalkboard paper online and she enjoys checking the things off her list before we head out the door – it’s a good reminder for what needs to be done in the short time we have. It’s a great tool for kids learning to read too. Sometimes we’ll leave each other love or funny notes – a perfect way to start the day!

Use Timers

Shouting “we’re late!” doesn’t always inspire a good mood, and kids don’t always pay attention to clocks – like ever. We’ve started using timers to help Matilda give herself enough time to mentally prepare for the end of something, such as brushing her teeth (2 minutes experts recommend) or the end of the screen time. Small sand timers are timers kids can actually use themselves when brushing their teeth.

Keep It Positive

I’m not a fan of alarm clocks. I wake up pretty early on my own to start making breakfast and lunch. Our pup and I will go in for some cuddle time when it’s time to wake M up. It’s a way we love to bond before the day, and she wakes up happy vs. grumpy, 99% of the time. Occasionally, I'll bring out the “morning spider” and tickle her back as motivation to wake up.

Give Age-Appropriate Tasks

At 9, Matilda will make her own toast now and grab some frozen blueberries from the freezer. She’ll dress herself too, often setting out her clothes the night before, and brush her teeth without me actually asking – a small parenting win but I’ll take it!

I still brush her hair because she hates to do it; it’s my last frontier in our morning ritual. One thing that helped her get on board with brushing her hair was reading a book called The Girl Who Wouldn’t Brush Her Hair by Kate Bernheimer. It’s a hoot!

Have a Backup Plan

Sometimes we wake up late or cuddle time goes on too long, and she’ll forget something like brushing her teeth. I use a pencil pouch as a toothbrushing kit so she can brush her teeth at school or in the car (nothing a little water bottle wouldn’t swish away). She can also eat breakfast in the car if totally necessary – we recently put a small trash bin in there to keep my “mom” car less of a food disaster!

Set Up A Go-Time Entryway

We put shoes, jackets, and backpacks in one place near the door. This is where everything goes after school so everyone’s ready to grab their things in the morning. It keeps clutter at bay in the rest of the house and chaos at bay when we’re trying to find our shoes in the morning.

Keep a Consistent Bedtime

Finally, we keep bedtime consistent even on weekends, so that she isn’t exhausted the next morning or always trying to catch up on sleep. This helps us stick to a consistent routine and make that 8:15 start time at school every time.

Morning rituals are important, but also it’s ok to slide once in a while. Extra cuddles are always worth a tardy sometimes. Good luck mamas with a new school year! Check out Boka for yourself too – the whole family will love it! Use code BOKABRIT15 on both Amazon and Boka.com for 15 percent off!

Who hasn't had "It's been Agatha all along" stuck in their head since 2021?! Agatha (played by Tiny Beautiful Things' Kathryn Hahn) turned out to be the Big Bad on Marvel's critically acclaimed WandaVision (which received five Emmy nominations!!), and I've been thinking about the show ever since. Seriously, I bring it up every chance I get! Agatha's back in her own show this time, and she's out to regain the power Wanda took from her.

What is Agatha All Along based on?

Chuck Zlotnick/Marvel Studios

Agatha All Along Plot

Agatha All Along is based on the Agatha Harkness character by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and the miniseries is a continuation of WandaVision. After a teen helps her break free from a spell that wiped her memory, Agatha and Teen head to the Witches' Road, which will reward them — if they survive.

When is Agatha All Along coming out?

Marvel Studios/Disney

Agatha All Along Release Date

The two episode premiere of Agatha All Along is now streaming on Disney+! There will be 9 episodes in the show.

Who's in the cast of Agatha All Along?

Agatha All Along Cast

The show stars Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.

Will Wanda return in Agatha All Along?

Marvel Studios/Disney

While the trailer reveals in the first few moments that Wanda Maximoff has died, Forbes is convinced the show will resurrect her just in time for Avengers 5 and 6 — and TBH, I agree! Wanda is just too powerful to be gone from the MCU for good, and I'd love to see her character redeemed after the chaos that was Doctor Strange 2.

My S.O. will probably tell you that I randomly belt out, "Baby you're a firework" several times a day because I can't get enough of the way Katy Perryactively encourages people to b their full selves. It's something she strives to do in her career and personal life as evidenced by her public relationship with the actor Orlando Bloom. Yes, the same man who deliciously played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings and Will Turner in The Pirates of the Caribbean.

Now that I'm done catching my breath, it's recently occurred to me that these two are still in the wedding planning stage despite getting engaged all the way back in 2019. I'm certainly not knocking it, but I thought it'd be fun to revisit their relationship timeline to see how their love story began. Let's get into all things Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom!

Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom's Relationship Timeline

Image via Amy Sussman/Getty Images

January 2016

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom met in 2016 while attending an afterparty once the Golden Globes ended. Per People, the “Firework” singer bonded with an American Idol contestant and excitedly shared how her paths crossed with Orlando. “So I had my security guard grab 10 In-N-Outs and all of a sudden I see my boyfriend’s hand — he wasn’t even sitting at our table — he just swoops in and he grabs it and I was like, ‘Hey that my burger,’” she recalled.

Orlando later revealed a little more about that moment when talking to The Times in 2018. He revealed he wasn’t really aware of her work before meeting her.

February 2016

Things apparently went well for the two because Orlando didn’t waste time introducing Katy to he and Miranda Kerr’s son Flynn. A source revealed to Peoplethat the two attended the birthday party of Robert Downey, Jr.'s son at the time.

"They were laughing, playing music and joking around with Flynn...Katy looked very comfortable at the kids party," according to the source.

May 2016

Right before the summer of 2016, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced their relationship via Instagram. As evidenced by her caption, “We cannes’t,” the couple were enjoying the bliss of being in Cannes, France at the time.

August 2016

One half of this lovely duo was spotted in the nude during another vacation and it’s an understatement to say the pics went viral. While Katy chose to don a bikini, Orlando decided to let loose — literally — and those sneaky paparazzi captured him in all of his glory.

He told Elle UK in 2017, “We’d been completely alone for five days. Nothing around us. There was no way anyone could get anything. So I had a moment of feeling free.”

Image via Andreas Rentz/Getty Images

February 2017

Sadly the couple broke up in 2017 and this caused their reps to release a statement to People in order to control any narratives that may have stemmed from it. “Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time,” the statement said.

Two sources gave different reasons for their split, but E! News reported that an insider said, "...they did discuss a future together during their relationship. They had an enormous amount of love for one another."

Despite their breakup, Orlando Bloom insisted there wasn't anything horrible about their breakup in his Elle UKinterview. "It's good. We're all grown-up. She happens to be someone who is very visible, but I don't think anybody cares what I'm up to. Nor should they. It's between us. It's better to set an example for kids and show that [break-ups] don't have to be about hate"

April 2018

Time does heal wounds in some instances because Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were seen spending more time together again. The singer shared an Instagram photo of them greeting Pope Francis and showing their support for The Cura Foundation with her fans.

September 2018

By the fall of 2018, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were definitely an item again. They appeared on their first red carpet together at The Global Ocean Gala and looked stunning. Elle even reported the two took a picture with Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco.

December 2018

In a hilarious turn of events, Katy Perry found herself winning a date with Orlando Bloom after she outbid an eager fan during the One Love Malibu Festival charity auction. A fan account on Instagram shared a video of the Katy saying, "You can do a motorcycle ride with him to a lunch destination to have lunch with Orlando freaking Bloom. That also means that when you are on the motorcycle with him you’re holding him in a way that I am not excited about."

Honestly, same Katy.

February 2019

The pair must've joyfully rang in the New Year in 2019 because they Katy happily took to Instagram to give fans a close-up look at her engagement ring from Orlando. She wrote, "full bloom" as her caption so there was no mistaking that she and Orlando were taking their relationship to the next step.

Katy opened up about how his proposal went when she appeared on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp a few months later. "It was Valentine's Day...[Orlando]'s, like, clean-shaven. He's not wearing tennis shoes. I was like 'Ah, sh*t, something is going down,'" she happily shared.

March 2019

They moved in together right after getting engaged and this seemed to work better for everyone. A source told People, "Since they are engaged, it was just a natural step for them to live together."

June 2019

It wasn't long before people began wondering what Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's wedding plans were, but the two have never been in a rush to walk down the aisle. Instead, Katy had this to say during an appearance on KISS Breakfast With Tom & Daisy: "One step at a time. Definitely trying to lay the good emotional foundation for the lifetime of commitment, which is like a big deal"

August 2019

Orlando shared Katy's sentiments and reiterated them when he stopped by the Today show in 2019. He told Willie Geist, "It’s important to me that we are aligned — I’ve been married and divorced and I don’t want to do it again..."

Image via Phillip Faraone/Getty Images

December 2019

While the couple were never in a rush to have a wedding, they ultimately decided to push things back as reported by US Weekly. A source told the outlet, "They changed the timing due to the location they want," and that makes sense. Planning a wedding often involves making sure venues, caterers, and more will be available during the time a couple is thinking about getting married.

February 2020

Things carried on as usual for the couple with Katy sharing a snapshot of the two on Instagram a couple of months later. They were celebrating a year of being engaged and her caption reads, "one year ago I said yes to a life of love and evolution... and definitely never a dull moment 😜."

March 2020

The next month is when Katy Perry revealed that she and Orlando were expecting their first baby together! She shared a brief video clip of her single "Never Worn White" on Instagram and basically let fans know she was pregnant. It's hard to miss her soul-deep smile and glow.

April 2020

The video for "Never Worn White" seemed to hint at the gender of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's baby, but the singer officially confirmed it on an Instagram post promoting her single "Daisies." She wrote, "🌼 The first single from #KP5 is called #DAISIES and she’s coming MAY 15, 2020 🌼," in her caption and the crowd went wild!

August 2020

Later that year, UNICEF posted a photo of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom holding their newborn's hand on Instagram to announce she'd arrived. The organization told fans via their caption that the couple were overjoyed about their daughter's birth. "We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter," the organization shared in its caption.

Orlando couldn't help but gush over his little girl during a brief virtual appearance for The Ellen Show. He said, "...she sort of looked like a bit like my mum so then I got a little bit confused because Katy's breast feeding this mini-me/my mum/who’s she going to look like next."

January 2021

And when Katy Perry performed during Joe Biden's inauguration, Orlando was right there cheering her on! He gleefully shared a BTS clip of her on Instagram and wrote, "One day our little girl will grow up and see her mother play her part in a moment in history that we hope will heal, we hope will unite, we hope, we love ❤️ One proud partner here with a tear of joy 🇺🇸🎆🙏." BRB, I have to grab tissues.

September 2021

When Katy Perry accepted a prestigous award at Variety's Power of Women in 2021, she gave a heartfelt message that spoke of the two greatest loves in her life — Orlando Bloom and their daughter Daisy. "....[Orlando] an incredible father [and] an example to our greatest gift ever, our daughter Daisy — a future powerful woman. I pledge to you to do my best to be an example of one, to never put limits on your dreams, to lead with love, never through fear, and to always be your lighthouse in any darkness..."

January 2022

Orlando also showed his support for Katy when she was in Las Vegas for her residency. He shared a goofy picture of him BTS with her on Instagram and wrote, "There’s a new act on the #vegas strip @katyperry so proud of you. Let’s all go#play 🍄🚀 HNY❤️," as his caption.

Image via Kevin Winter/Getty Images

May 2022

Appearing on Chelsea Handler's podcast Dear Chelsea, Katy got real about her and Orlando attending therapy together. "We love it because it keeps us in tune...and so when you want to come back to being normal in a domesticated world where you have a child and stuff like that, you have to really learn how to be kind of different out there in the big and in the small," she said.

We love a couple who attends therapy together!

February 2023

Orlando also revealed to Flaunt that things can be challenging for the couple. He said, "Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands. Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging. I won’t lie. We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity."

April 2024

Now here we are in 2024 and the blushing couple are still very much in love. They attended the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Event earlier this month and look elegant in their black-tie outfits.

As far as their wedding plans are concerned, Katy Perry shared what she plans to do once she leaves American Idol. Per Parade, she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and said, "I think this probably will be my last show, my last season forIdol. I mean, I love Idolso much. It’s connected me with the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat."

She didn't explicitly talk about when she's getting married to Orlando bloom but we'll cross our fingers for a beautiful wedding either this year or in 2025.

September 2024

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom took the "'black" carpet at the 2024 VMA Awards, and they looked better than ever! Katy bared her body in a frayed, white two-piece look that only she could pull off, while Orlando rocked an all-black outfit to let her ensemble shine.

And while they looked great, Katy had a very relatable mom moment during an interview. She looked into the screen and told her daughter Daisy not to stay up too late and to "eat your broccoli," noting that it's Daisy's first time watching MTV ever! Adorable!

Orlando then introduced Katy before her VMA Vanguard Award performance. He said, "You fell in love with her as Katy Perry. I fell in love with her as Katherine Hudson." He continued by elaborating on Katy's many successes and how proud he is of her.

Then, post-performance (wow, that aerial work was INCREDIBLE), Orlando presented the actual Moon Person to Katy. While Katy rattled off the usual thank you's (her label, her team, her parents), there was one "thank you" that really stood out among the rest. When thanking her husband, she said, "Thank you to Orlando for keeping me grounded, celebrated, and doing the dishes." Stars — they really are just like us!

Shortly after her electrifying VMA Vanguard Award performance, Kate Perry explained how much her stepson Flynn helped her piece together parts of her album 143. She chatted with Audacy about his contributions, but made it known her family doesn't obsess over her music like fans."They've had enough of me. I mean, they're fine, but like...my family, they're telling me to move or take the trash out," she said.

Flynn's the only one who truly offers tangible feedback. She said, "He's got good taste" and "loves this song called 'All the Love,'" on 143. Out of everything Katy's written, it's one of her "favorite songs."
