How And Where To Watch Every Simone Biles Gymnastics Competition This Year

simone biles at the 2023 worlds championships

Simone Bilesis back, baby! The nine-time world and four-time Olympic champion returned to the world stage earlier this week for the2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, where she made landing a Yurchenko double pike vault look easyAF. She made history in the process with the move being *officially* named after her (now, it’s called The Biles II).

It’s no surprise that Biles absolutely rocked her return to the sport. So, what’s next for the 26 year-old gymnast?

Simone Biles' 2023 Gymnastics Competition Schedule

Knowing that she’s always searching for ways to improve, we’re cheering on Biles in every way we can, and hope to see her succeed on the Olympic floor next year. Until Paris comes around, the sport is focused around the Worlds in Antwerp. Here’s when and how to watch Biles compete:

September 30 - October 8 – 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships

  • October 4 – Women’s team final
    • The best 8 countries will compete.
  • October 6 – Individual all-around final
    • The best 24 female gymnasts, max 2 per country, compete.
  • October 7 – Apparatus finals, day 1
    • The best 8 women gymnasts, max 2 per country, compete on vault and uneven bars.
  • October 8 – Apparatus finals, day 2
    • The best 8 women gymnasts, max 2 per country, compete on balance beam and floor.
  • July 2 - August 11, 2024 – Paris 2024 Summer Olympics

The competition will be broadcast on NBC/CNBC in the U.S. You can also stream it on NBC Sports Live, Peacock, or through the NBC Sports App. If you don’t have a cable login for those platforms, you can get a trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, FuboTV, or Sling TV.

Biles admirably sparked conversations about mental health in sports after withdrawing from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics team finals due to the “twisties” – a common phenomenon among gymnasts that causes them to lose their sense of space and dimension entirely.

During her time away from gymnastics, Biles took the idea that ‘physical health is mental health’ to heart, focusing more on “being intentional, going to therapy, and making sure everything is aligned so that [she] can do [her] best in the gym, be a good wife, good daughter, good friend, all the good things,” she said in an interview with the TODAY Show.

Though we’ll have to wait for a final word on Olympic qualifications, it’s clear that Biles has her intentions set on Paris 2024.

"That's the path that I would love to go," she told NBC earlier this year.

When the WGA and SAG-AFTRA unions went on strike, the industry immediately began feeling the effects. Late night shows like SNL and The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon stopped production immediately, and pre-production on shows like Stranger Things 5 halted. The end of the writers' strike means that pre-production on scripted content can resume, but we're still waiting to hear whether the end of the actors' strike means production can begin. That means it's going to take even *longer* for our favorite shows to release new seasons. After the delay that COVID caused, this is ... less than great news. Here's the latest info on which titles have been delayed, and when you can expect them.

Stranger Things 5

Stranger Things. (L to R) Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, and Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield in "Stranger Things."

"Writing does not stop when filming begins," Matt and Ross Duffer, co-creators and co-showrunners, tweeted on May 6. "While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work."

The Duffers went on to confirm in September that pre-production has resumed following the end of the writers' strike, but they won't be able to film until the actors' strike ends.

White Lotus Season 3

Image via HBO

The new season of White Lotus was supposed to be on our screens sooner rather than later, but it's been pushed to the next calendar year. "WhiteLotus Season 3, that was going to be ’24 and that’s likely moving into 2025,” said HBO and Max Content Chairman and CEO Casey Bloys, via Deadline.

The Last of Us Season 2

HBO is hoping to begin production on The Last of Us season 2 in 2024, meaning we'll probably see it in 2025.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight

On May 7, author George R. R. Martin published a blog post confirming that the new Game of Thrones spinoff had ceased pre-production, while season two of House of the Dragon has already begun filming.

"The scripts for the eight s2 episodes were all finished months ago, long before the strike began," Martin says. "The writers have done their jobs; the rest is in the hands of the directors, cast and crew… and of course the dragons)."

They hope to begin production in the spring, via Variety, should the SAG-AFTRA strike end.

Spider-Man 4

Image via Columbia Pictures/Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures/IMDb

During the New York City premiere of A Crowded Room, Tom Holland told Variety that a fourth Spider-Man was in its very early stages of development.

“I can say that we have been having meetings. We’ve put the meetings on pause in solidarity with the writers,” he said. “There’s been multiple conversations had, but at this point it’s very, very early stages.”

The WGA strike may have ended, but we still don't know when this movie could begin filming.

Co-creator Ashley Lyle confirmed on Twitter that after one day in the writer's room for season three, pre-production has stopped: "It was amazing, and creatively invigorating, and so much fun, and I’m very excited to get back to it as soon as the #WGA gets a fair deal."

The writer's room is able to get back to work, but we'll have to wait for the actors to get the all clear before filming can begin.

Bunk'd

Deadline confirmed on May 7 that production on this Disney Channel comedy stopped, meaning we can expect a delay in the newest season.

Cobra Kai

Co-creator Jon Hurwitz tweeted on May 2 that production on the next season of this Netflix show stopped. "We hate to strike, but if we must, we strike hard," he said at the time. "Pencils down in the Cobra Kai writers room. No writers on set. These aren't fun times, but it's unfortunately necessary."

However, pre-production can now resume on the final season of the show!

Blade

The Marvel film was paused because of the WGA strike, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Abbott Elementary

Abbott Elementary Season 2 Trailer

Writing for Abbott Elementary's third season was intended for May 2, the same day the strike began. Writer Brittani Nichols says in an interview with Democracy Now! that the season could be delayed as a whole (and this was before the actors' strike): "That could change the amount of episodes, which people I’m sure will be very upset about. It could change the air date. It could change a lot of different things.”

“I am a writer. I’m in the WGA. I’m also on strike!" creator, executive producer, and star Quinta Brunson tweeted at the time. "I have no real power here other than to join my union in demanding fair compensation for writers!”

Daredevil: Born Again

After disrupting the series' film schedule on May 8, Daredevil: Born Again shut down for the time being on May 10.

Good Trouble

WGA picketers stopped production for Freeform's Good Trouble on May 9. "They got NO shooting done today. We got this done with a small crew of writers who started at 4am, and the cavalry of the Teamsters grips, electricians, crew etc.," @JorgeCoolReyes tweeted.

Since the actors still can't film, we won't be able to see the rest of the season for an indefinite period of time.

The Chi

The Chi stopped production on May 12 after "@IATSE 476 and @Teamsters Local 727 refused to cross the picket line," @ZaydDohrn tweeted.

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School

Filming for Pretty Little Liars: Summer School has been interrupted by the strike.

Daytime Emmy Awards

On May 16th, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced that the Daytime Emmy Awards would be postponed.

"We look forward to our community gathering together as one to celebrate our Golden Anniversary and all of the talented nominees and honorees at a later date," President & CEO Adam Sharp said in a statement.

The Emmys are now scheduled for January 15, 2024.

The Penguin

The Batman spinoff series, was shut down for the day on May 16. Picketers also came to strike "outside a Harlem cemetery, to defend Gotham from The Penguin," according to a tweet from @warrenleightTV.

Our favorite murder mystery is returning for another season! Only Murders in the Building, which stars Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and Steve Martin, is Hulu's most-watched original comedy — and season three was the platform's most-streamed original project this year. It looks like Arconiacs really DO want more because we're getting Only Murders in the Building season 4. Here's everything we know about the upcoming installment of the show, and don't forget to read our interview with costumer Dana Covarrubias! After you've rewatched seasons 1-3 (again), check out The Best New TV Shows Coming In 2024for more!

When is the next season of Only Murders in the Building coming out?

Image via Selena Gomez/Instagram

Selena Gomez posted a screenshot on March 1 announcing that filming had begun! In honor of Day 1, Martin Short and Steve Martin sent her a bouquet of flowers with a note that reads, "We're so happy to be back with you, love, Steve and Marty." Okay cute!!

And on May 14, Selena Gomez announced Only Murders in the Building season 4 would be coming to Hulu Tuesday August 27, 2024. That means we're getting the Olympics, Bridgerton, The Bear, Emily in Paris, and House of the Dragon all in one summer. WOW.

Who's going to be in the Only Murders in the Building season 4 cast?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

Hulu recently added You're The Worst and Carrie Pilby starDesmin Borges, Room For Error actress Siena Werber, and newcomer Lilian Rebelo to the Only Murders in the Building season 4 cast.

Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin will return to lead Only Murders in the Building season 4. We'll also see Meryl Streep return alongside newcomers Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Kumail Nanjiani, and White Lotus star Molly Shannon. While we don't have any info on Eugene and Eva's role, we'll see Molly as a "high-powered Los Angeles business woman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in New York,” via Variety.

As someone who was head over heels obsessed with Cheaper By The Dozen 2 as a kid, I can't wait to see Eugene Levy and Steve Martin onscreen again!

Does Selena Gomez like Steve Martin and Martin Short?

Image via Selena Gomez/Instagram

Yes, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short are all close! "I want to thank @stevemartinreally and Marty (who hates social media) for truly being the most kind, gentle, warm and powerful influences in my life," Selena Gomez says on Instagram. "You have shown me a level of class, intellect and humor that doesn’t seem to be easy to find anymore. You guys are truly best friends to me forever." I love this trio so much!

What is the Only Murders In The Building Season 4 filming like?

Image via Only Murders/Instagram

The official Only Murders in the Building Instagram account shared the first shot from set, and we couldn't be happier to see our favorite trio! "The besties are back," the post reads. "Season 4 🎥." And it looks like the costume color palette is still shades of green, blue, and red like in previous seasons, with Steve Martin's Charles wearing blue slacks and green shoes, and Martin Short's Oliver wearing rust-colored pants. Selena Gomez' Mabel is sticking to neutrals for now, but I'm sure we'll see plenty of color in her wardrobe in the weeks to come!

What is Only Murders in the Building season 4 about?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

"I think the idea of what you create is a thing you put out to the world, and sometimes you can’t be prepared for the repercussions of what potentially the world does with your thing," showrunner John Hoffman tells The Hollywood Reporter. "So, the podcast and everything else that’s happened, and what it all means, and what it could have been meaning all along."

We've seen the way Mabel, Oliver, and Charles' podcast has catapulted them into danger and adventure in the last three seasons, and it sounds like Only Murders in the Building season 4 will focus even more on the repercussions of their podcast — and it's going to happen in Los Angeles.

"Well, I’m very excited to see Steve, Martin and Selena take a little break from the apartment building and come to Los Angeles," ABC boss Craig Erwich tells Deadline. "So in the same way that John Hoffman used the canvas of Broadway to tell [Only Murders season 3], the same unique Only Murders take will be applied to Los Angeles, which I’m really excited about."

How many episodes of Only Murders In The Building on Hulu are there?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

All three seasons of Only Murders in the Building have 10 episodes each. We're definitely going to binge watch all 30 multiple times before season 4 comes out!

Who dies at the end of season 3 of Only Murders in the Building?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

At the very end of Only Murders season 3, we see Sazz (played by Jane Lynch) get shot while walking around Charles' apartment — and then try to write him a message with her own blood. Crazy! But even crazier is the fact she was dressed up like him, meaning the murderer was actually after Charles. But the great thing about Only Murders in the Building is that the victim becomes an even larger part of the story than they were before.

"The more personal you can make the victim to one of our trio, or the murderer to one of our trio, the better," showrunner John Hoffman tells THR. "It felt like a perfect opportunity to let Charles have this connection and explore more of that connection. It’s one of the great characters. We’ve loved writing Sazz so much, and that’s the beauty of the show is, you get a lot more time with the victims. They’re not gone when some ill fate happens to them."

Where is the Arconia in New York?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

In real life, the Arconia is the The Belnord Apartments. The building takes up an entire city block, and the Italian Renaissance Revival style it was made in is absolutely beautiful. You can see the outside of the building in New York City's west 86th street, but since it's a real apartment building, you won't be able to go inside!

How did they get Sting to be in Only Murders in the Building?

Image via Craig Blakenhorn/Hulu

Sting was a guest star in the first season of Only Murders in the Building thanks to his friendship with Steve Martin and casting director Bernard Telsey! That's also how Meryl Streep (who's also friends with Steve Martin and Martin Short) got to be a part of season 3.

Where can I watch Only Murders in the Building?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

You can watch the Emmy-nominatedOnly Murders in the Building on Hulu now!

Where did the inspiration for the costumes come from?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

In our interview with costume designer Dana Covarrubias, she mentioned how much her and Selena Gomez' Mexican heritage influenced her outfits in season one, while the aesthetics of The Hardy Boys and Alfred Hitchcock's films influenced her looks in season two.

"I was trying to figure out something within that [murder mystery] world again, but our whole season is about Broadway and about theatre, and I think that just trumped everything else," she says. "It was very exciting to re-explore some of my favorite musicals...Almost all of Mabel's costumes this season are directly inspired by one or two musicals."

We're talking Guys and Dolls, Chicago, and Little Shop of Horrors. Check back here for the season four costume inspo!

Will there be a season 4 of Only Murders in the Building?

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

Yes, Only Murders in the Building season 4 is confirmed! The official Instagram announcement post features our favorite trio against a vivid green backdrop. Selena Gomez stuns in a bright red sweater dress with a cold shoulder silhouette, while Martin Short wears a blue suit and Steve Martin wears purple. This definitely feels like a nod to the Only Murders in the Building costumes — Selena's Mabel wears a lot of marigold and red, while Steve's Charles started off the show in blue and Martin's Oliver chose shades of purple.

Ensuring everyone has equal access to food is undoubtedly important to us. Without it, it’s difficult to truly thrive and live life to the fullest – but we know that access across demographics is far from perfect, and many Americans go days, months, and even years without a nutritious meal on the table.

Food insecurity addresses this issue head-on. The USDA defines food insecurity as: limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods, or limited or uncertain ability to acquire acceptable foods in socially acceptable ways. Essentially, food insecurity means not having uncomplicated and consistent access to healthy foods. Unsurprisingly, it disproportionately impacts communities of color.

Food Insecurity and People of Color

Why is it not surprising? Our government has operated in a discriminative way towards these communities for years – dated exclusionary policies, economically oppressive systems, limited welfare programs, and racist and sexist frameworks remain active, furthering the gap in food security. Ultimately, the trickle down effect of a sum of choices made by the U.S. over time has impacted people’s ability to earn enough money to live reasonably healthy and comfortable lives.

“Households of color across the U.S. have historically experienced food insecurity at a disproportionately high rate, a trend that continues today,” Geri Henchy, director of nutrition policy at the Food Research & Action Center said. For more than 52 years, FRAC has been working to end poverty-related hunger in America through advocacy, partnerships, and by advancing bold and equitable policy solutions. “These racial disparities exist because of longstanding systemic racism and injustice. Decades of housing segregation, employment discrimination, and over-policing are a few of the wide-ranging barriers that have resulted in higher levels of food insecurity among communities of color.”

Recent data (based on the supplemental poverty measure, aka SPM) shows that Black and Hispanic people have been more than twice as likely to experience poverty than their white counterparts – every year for the past decade. The disparity between women of color and white women mirrors this statistic similarly, with WOC being more than twice as likely to experience poverty than white women. When there’s rent, gas, bills to pay, and children to support, buying healthy food is often ill-considered, or not considered at all by those living in poverty. The 2020 pandemic worsened financial situations for people of color, and now food insecurity is a pressing issue more than ever, especially in disparaged communities like WOC.

Food Insecurity Impacts Health

Photo by cottonbro studio / PEXELS

Food insecurity exasperates health issues for those experiencing it. Food insecurity is associated with less-than-favorable health outcomes, including lower-quality diets, psychological distress, depression, chronic illness, and even premature death, according to Professor Denise Payan PhD, health policy researcher at the University of California, Irvine.

“The stress of figuring out where you (and your child’s) next meal will come from and the tension of whether you can pay the rent, or pay for food to feed your family is a real problem for many U.S. households,” said Payan. “In a well-resourced country, the issue seems to be related more to food maldistribution, waste, and income inequality.”

We’re talking about people having little to no food on the table at a consistent rate – this means many experience hunger, malnourishment, or both – not getting the nutrients their bodies need. If we want to honor our country’s value of equality, we need to ensure no one goes hungry, according to Henchy.

“[It is] foundational to health, education, national security, and economic priorities,” she said. “It is essential that we work towards a more equitable society where there is no limit to what anyone can achieve.”

Food choices being limited doesn’t always mean that Americans are left hungry. Sometimes the only realistic option for meals in food insecure places is ordering fast food that’s crawling in preservatives, corn syrup, salt, and other harmful ingredients when eaten in excess. In most cases, fast food is also the most convenient and cheap for those experiencing food insecurity, and sometimes, the only option in their area.

According to a 2016 report from the Union of Concerned Scientists, rising diabetes rates have hit communities of color the hardest. Black, Latino, and Native American communities are about twice as likely to be diabetic than whites. Since race and income are highly correlated with food insecurity, they’re also linked closely to diabetes rates.

Many families are left preoccupied thinking about their next meal or trip to the grocery store, and this constant stress weighs heavily on mental health in food insecure communities.

“It's stressful if you don't know how you're going to be able to feed your family, or don't have enough money to feed your family, or maybe don't have transportation to get to a grocery store that has a variety of foods,” said Jessica Jones, Founder of Jessica Jones Nutrition, Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, Master of Science in Nutrition, podcast host, and cookbook author. She has previous firsthand experience with food insecurity as a dietician for the Department of Health, working on public health initiatives in food deserts. “And it can definitely be really tricky to figure out how to feed your family, especially if you don't have enough money.”

Furthermore, it’s not uncommon for those living in food insecurity to develop eating disorders. In fact, studies have identified a correlation between the two. Researchers found that young adults with a history of food insecurity were more likely to have a “clinically significant” eating disorder, higher BMI levels, waist-to-height ratios, depressive symptoms, stress, and disordered eating scores in comparison to individuals without a history of food insecurity. Because there’s the ever-looming air of scarcity, disordered behaviors can take place.

“In private practice, I work with eating disordered patients, and I've noticed that for people who are food insecure, that can be a precursor for binge eating just because [they] don't have consistent access to food,” Jones said. “So whether or not you're intentionally restricting or not, there's some restriction going on there that can cause you to binge eat when you do have enough food.”

How Food Insecure People Can Take Action

Photo by Felipe Paes / PEXELS

If you’re living in a food desert and experience food insecurity, you’re not without help. There are a handful of things you can do to access healthy foods and get assistance with feeding yourself and your family.

Jessica Jones is a huge advocate for stocking your kitchen with beneficial, nutrient-dense foods that are convenient, but also have a long shelf life. Her favorite option is Premier Protein cereal, because it’s sustaining and stable over time.

“I love Premier Protein cereal – that's one of the clients that I work with. It's one of the rare cereals that does have 20 grams of protein per serving,” Jones said. “One of the most important things that [protein] does is it helps to balance out our blood sugar levels.”

Incorporating different convenience foods is great as well. Frozen fruits and vegetables, dry rice and beans, dry pasta, and packaged snacks work wonderfully and can last you months. Jones advises against ruling out processed foods, because they can help fill in the nutrient gaps at a lower cost.

“I think that people kind of demonize processed foods, but there's a place for them,” said Jones. “Just because something is processed means that it's bad – I hate that mindset. Processed foods are a great and convenient way, many times, to incorporate nutrient-dense foods into your diet. I incorporate processed foods every single day. I think we need to get rid of some of that stigma and make health more accessible to all.”

The programs mentioned previously also work hard to make health more accessible to all. Looking into these programs (SNAP, WIC, etc.) can ultimately be life-changing.

“WIC is an important resource for families with young children,” Henchy said. “WIC waivers and enhancements during the pandemic have simultaneously removed access barriers and increased the value of participating in WIC, resulting in overall increases in program participation. Still, more work is needed to modernize the program and ensure it can reach families in need.”

School meals programs are another transformative initiative, according to Payan.

“A national universal school meals program that reduces the administrative burden and cost of eligibility paperwork for the current free and reduced-cost school meal program would rapidly increase access to school meals among kids and their families across the country,” Payan said. “At the individual level, volunteering for these organizations, advocating for effective policies, and building capacity around community nutrition and education can help to raise awareness and shift focus to the issue.”

Community gardens and grocery incentive programs are also available, raring and ready to make food accessible.

How Non-Food Insecure Individuals Can Help

Considering the strenuous effects of food insecurity, it’s important to us (as food secure individuals) that we do what we can to help those living in food insecure communities access healthy food to thrive. Recognizing that people who are food insecure are not at-fault for their food insecurity — but rather because of our country’s long standing systems — is integral to addressing the issue.

Federal nutrition programs like SNAP, WIC, school meals, after school programs, summer camps, and childcare meals are big players in mitigating hunger and the resulting negative health outcomes of food insecurity. These programs also support federal economic security, help lift families out of poverty, and act as a stimulus for local economies – all worth educating yourself and others about, and getting involved in.

“At the individual level, volunteering for these organizations, advocating for effective policies, and building capacity around community nutrition and education can help to raise awareness and shift focus to the issue,” Payan said. “Instead of making it more difficult for marginalized communities to access healthy, safe foods, we should be working to reduce institutional barriers.”

Even starting an internal conversation about food insecurity is helpful, according to Jones.

“I think it's just such an important thing that we don't talk about enough,” said Jones. “Especially on social media, and on Instagram, there's a lot of elitism and ‘health-ism’ when it comes to talking about food. Sometimes we need to zoom out and look at the bigger picture, and realize that not everybody even has access to food.”

Going beyond conversation, education, and volunteering and getting in touch with our country’s lawmakers and policymakers is another major way to advocate against food insecurity, says Henchy.

“Your voice matters,” Henchy said. “You can help inform lawmakers about the importance of protecting and strengthening federal nutrition programs (such as SNAP, school meals, afterschool and summer meals, child care meals, WIC, older adult nutrition and commodity assistance programs) to ensure struggling households get the nutrition they need.

She recommends signing up for the FRAC Action Network to receive updates on how you can take action to help end hunger in America.

“We tend to look at the individual [themself] to get out of food security, or somehow solve food insecurity for themselves, and really, it's more of a systemic issue,” Jones said. “If you are someone who is experiencing food insecurity, looking out for programs or resources in your community can be really helpful.”

“An unacceptable number of people in America do not have enough to eat,” Henchy said. ”No one should have to go hungry in the wealthiest nation when we have solutions that exist.”

There's NOTHING like the Disney magic I felt in my favorite series growing up. Sometimes, it was the magic of coming of age, like in Lizzie McGuire, and sometimes, it was literal magic, like in Wizards Of Waverly Place. Turns out, I'm not the only one who misses Waverly Place because Selena Gomez and her onscreen brother David Henrie are returning for another installment of the hit series! Here's everything we know about the Wizards Of Waverly Place revival (fittingly titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place) so far.

After starring in the series, the Wizards of Waverly Place movie, and The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex reunion special, the cast is "so excited" to return, according to executive producer Selena Gomez' Instagram story. "The Russo’s are excited to become a part of your family, once again, but we’ve grown," David says in an Instagram post. "2024, the year magic comes back!"

What is the Wizards of Waverly Place revival about?

In this new take on the Wizards of Waverly Place world, Justin has traded his powers for a regular life without magic. But when a young wizard named Billie seeks him out, he learns that the future of the wizard world is at stake. We don't know what role Alex will play in the pilot, but we do know Selena is set to make an appearance. I'm definitely expecting her to give Justin some sassy advice — it's what Alex does best!

When does Wizards Beyond Waverly Place come out?

We'll see Wizards Beyond Waverly Place later this year!

Is Wizards Beyond Waverly Place a reboot?

Image via Disney Channel

The new Wizards of Waverly Place TV show will serve as a revival rather than a reboot. Instead of a new Justin and Alex, we'll see new characters as well as reappearances from our faves! In addition to David Henrie starring as a series regular and Selena Gomez making a guest appearance, the duo will executive produce.

Who's in the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place cast?

Along with Selena Gomez and David Henrie, we'll see Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Mimi Gianopulos as Justin's wife Giada, and Alkaio Thiele as Justin's son Roman. We don't have other official cast members, but according to David Henrie (via People), they "definitely plan on bringing back the original cast for the series order."

Why did they stop making Wizards of Waverly Place?

There was a rumor that Wizards of Waverly Place ended so Selena Gomez could move on to different acting roles, although the actress never confirmed it. But as opposed to some of our favorite series that were cancelled out of the blue, Wizards of Waverly Place came to more of a natural stopping point by the end, and a finale made sense!

Where can I watch the Wizards of Waverly Place movie?
