Brit + Co’s Weekly Entertainment Planner: ‘Queer Eye,’ ‘The Bold Type,’ and More!

Welcome to Brit + Co’s Weekly Entertainment Planner! Each Monday, we highlight one thing we’re excited about in six categories — movies, TV, music, streaming services, podcasts, and a bonus pick from all of the above — to help you navigate your week in watching and listening. Check out our picks for the week of June 11 to 17 below. Your eyes and your ears will thank us!

Movies

Incredibles 2 (June 15): It took 14 years, but the Incredibles sequel is finally here! The Parr family have been chosen for a mission to help make supers liked again, and they’re looking to Elastigirl — AKA Mrs. Incredible — to lead the way. Mr. Incredible stays home to look after the kids while she’s out doing good, and as baby Jack-Jack’s superpowers start to develop, it becomes more of a challenge than he originally anticipated. From the animation to the laughter to the message of household equality, Incredibles 2 is classic Pixar. Check it out in theaters starting June 15. (Photo via Disney=Pixar)

TV

The Bold Type (June 12):The Bold Type returns for season 2 on June 12, and while season 1 did a fantastic job of covering topical and realistic issues facing young women within the fashion world and beyond — most notably sexual harassment and assault — showrunner Amanda Lasher says they’ll branch out to look at other hot topics such as body positivity, slut-shaming, and racial identity going forward. Watch the season 2 premiere Tuesday, June 12, at 8pm ET on Freeform. (Photo via Freeform/Ed Herrera)

Streaming

Queer Eye (June 15): Can you believe?! The Fab Five are already back with new Queer Eye episodes on Netflix, and we couldn’t be happier. Season 2 will feature the first woman to get a makeover on the show, as well as Skyler, a trans man who just wants to “be visible and be present and let everybody know that I’m okay.” Get ready to cry even more than you did in season 1. Podcasts

Unladylike: A new podcast asks, “What happens when women break the rules?” Hosts Cristen Conger and Caroline Ervin (formerly of Stuff Mom Never Told You), profile women who live their lives outside of the traditional expectations of how they “should,” and the results are both entertaining and enlightening. Download Unladylike wherever you get your podcasts or check it out through their website.

Music

Christina Aguilera, Liberation (June 15): After six long years without new music, Christina Aguilera returns with her comeback album Liberation. With production from Kanye West, Mike Dean, and Charlie Heat, and guests including Demi Lovato, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, the pop diva is taking her music into hip-hop infused territory, and it sounds good on her.(Photo via Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Bonus

Set It Up (June 15): Your favorite romcom of the summer is the latest from Netflix. Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell star as a two overworked, under-appreciated assistants who try to make their bosses, Lucy Liu and Taye Diggs, fall in love. As the two underlings plot and scheme together, they get even closer — and you can probably see where this is going. As a bonus, Set It Up comes from prolific comedic TV director Claire Scanlon (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Office), so chances are it’s gonna be a good one. Check it out on Netflix on June 15. Over the past several years, climate change has become an increasingly prevalent and unavoidable issuein our everyday lives. As a growing number of people take the threat of global disaster seriously, we're turning to written reports, expert opinions, and heavily researched documentaries to not only help make sense of where we stand, but also to learn how we can help change course. In honor of Earth Day, here are a few of the most eye-opening environmental documentaries you can stream right now.

Environmental Documentaries To Watch For Earth Day 2024

Image via PBS Digital Studios

Animal IQ (2021): Featuring elephants, foxes, otters, and more, this new series from PBS Digital Studios and Nature takes a look at the intelligence of Earth's animals with a new episode every three weeks. In each installment, Trace Dominguez and Natalia Borrego talk to experts and conduct research to determine how and if animals can actually think.

Image via Gisle Sverdrup/Silverback/Netflix

Our Planet(2019): Unlike the BBC's beloved Planet Earth and Blue Planet series, Our Planet focuses directly on how each ecosystem featured is currently being threatened by climate change. One scene in particular has caused an appropriately dramatic reaction: a group of Russian walruses falling down a steep rock cliff to their deaths. Narrator Sir David Attenborough explains that receding ice levels have left fewer places for the animals to gather, highlighting just how devastating the warming of the planet has already become.

Image via Netflix

Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret (2014): Made by the same team who brought us 2017's controversial What the Health documentary,Cowspiracy is, on its surface, a look at the damaging environmental effects of the livestock industry. Like What the Health, much of the information is presented from a very pro-vegan perspective, and not a lot of balanced reporting is offered. Still, it can serve as a starting point to learn about how meat production uses more resources and contributes more to global greenhouse gas emissions than, say, a plant-based diet, and that may help us make more informed food choices.

Image via Netflix

Chasing Coral (2017): Coral reefs not only serve as a nurturing and essential environment to all ocean life, but also help protect coastlines from flooding during extreme weather events. Unfortunately, due to warming sea temperatures, overfishing, pollution, and other human activities, their vivid, beautiful ecosystems are facing rapid decline. Chasing Coral attempts to document this "coral bleaching" and the devastating economic and environmental effects it could have — as well as the wider problems it may represent. (photo via Netflix)

Image via Tiberius Film/Sunfilm Entertainment

The Milk System(2017): Milk has always represented health, nutrients, and strong bones but The Milk System dives into how the system in question really operates. Speaking with farmers, dairy owners, scientists, and more, this Earth Day documentary examines the profits, responsibilities, and costs of this billion dollar industry.

Image via Pastic Oceans

A Plastic Ocean(2016): In the face of realizing its irreversible environmental effects, the world is slowly moving toward banning many single-use plastics. A Plastic Ocean starts out as a documentary on blue whales but quickly turns into a study on the devastating effects that plastic pollution has had in the lives of ocean animals, from the whales, to dolphins, to seals, and more. It's an eye-opening look at what our plastic use is doing to these creatures, and to the state of much of our own food supplies.

Image via Netflix

Kiss the Ground (2020): This full-length documentary, narrated by Woody Harrelson, looks at the way regenerative agriculture (which focuses on topsoil regeneration) has the potential to feed the world, replenish water supplies, and even balance our climate. Activists, scientists, farmers and politicians take part in this move towards saving the planet's topsoil.

We can't believe that the first season of The Golden Bachelor is complete. Where has the time gone?! Well, at least we know it's been well-spent with love, fun, and laughs. That's *exactly* what Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner, and winner of the show, Theresa Nist, have been up to since getting engaged during the finale.

The couple's wedding ceremony took place during the season finale of The Golden Bachelor, with the happy couple saying their "I do"s on live television. Here's to forever, Gerry and Theresa. ❤️

Here's what the two lovebirds have been up to since the very first The Golden Bachelor wedding!

"The Golden Bachelor" Couple Are Ending Their Marriage

Image via Disney/John Fleenor

Just when we thought things were working well for "The Golden Bachelor" couple, they decided to announce the end of their short-lived marriage on Good Morning America. Gerry Turner told host Juju Chang, "Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and -- and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to -- dissolve our marriage."

Theresa Nist clarified that she doesn't want the people who rooted for them to believe love and marriage are hopeless. "We want none of that to change for anybody," she said.

We're sure that they truly had a connection, but it's not easy trying to navigate merging your life with someone no matter how old you are. It seems that Gerry and Theresa couldn't bear the thought of one of them being separated from their families, ultimately resulting in the tough decision that getting married may not have been the best thing to do.

We hope that they take as much time as they need to continue navigating their decision to end their public marriage.

"The Golden Bachelor" Blended Family Went On "Celebrity Family Feud"

Disney / John Fleenor

Gerry and Theresa's newly-blended family revealed that they filmed an episode of Celebrity Family Feud in early April – and their opposing team wasn't that unfamiliar!

Theresa's daughter Jen posted some behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, noting that the family went up against more Bachelor Nation members like Joey Graziadei, Kelsey Anderson, Charity Lawson, Dotun Olubeko, Zach Shallcross, and Kaity Biggar for their episode of Celebrity Family Feud.

Jen also gave us loose details about when the episode would officially air, writing in the caption of her Instagram post: "you’ll have to watch to see how it went down but no I’m not really sure when it’s going to be on… August?!"

Gerry posted a little preview too, saying that he "had a GREAT time at Celebrity Family Feud with the blended family."

Gerry's daughter Angie seemed super excited about being on Celebrity Family Feud as well, writing in her Instagram post that her dreams were fulfilled being on the show.

"Since I was little I wanted to be on family feud," she wrote. "I would dream about it and assemble my team in my mind. Yesterday…it happened!!!! We played celebrity family feud!!! It was so much fun."

A Recap Of "The Golden Bachelor" Wedding

Disney / John & Joseph Photography

Gerry and Theresa got married during a live taping of The Golden Wedding, and there were hardly any dry eyes during their sweet ceremony. To help them celebrate their new nuptials, former The Golden Bachelor contestant Susan Noles was their officiant. It felt like a full circle moment for Bachelor Nation, because more familiar faces could be seen in the audience, like Trista and Ryan Sutter.

Peoplereports that Gerry and Theresa's respective daughters gave heartfelt speeches that touched everyone. Gerry's daughters Angie and Jenny shared how proud they are of their dad before turning their attention to Theresa. Jenny said, "he found a fantastic woman that is beautiful inside and out to spend the rest of his life with."

Theresa's daughter Jen echoed their sentiments. She said, "we're beyond thrilled that you’ve brought us together as family."

Towards the end of the ceremony, Gerry could be heard telling guests, "I have a whole new outlook on life because of this journey and because of this woman." So cute!

Everything Gerry And Theresa Said About "The Golden Bachelor" Wedding

Disney / John Fleenor

After a long season, Gerry finally found his sweetheart. Theresa Nist, a financier from New Jersey, won the show with the ultimate gesture of love: a darling proposal from Gerry at the season finale! Despite the joyous ending, picking a final woman wasn't an easy decision for Gerry:

“I met some of the women and recognized they were beautiful and gracious and intelligent, but they weren't the right woman for me,” Gerry told People. “I had to find the right person.”

The lovely couple couldn't stop gushing about how thrilled they were as their big day approached. Their respective families are also over the moon, with Theresa's daughter and Gerry's granddaughters jumping on the opportunity to help celebrate.

“My daughter, she's seen a million weddings and she is incredible," Theresa said of her daughter, Jen. "She's put together the vision board. She's asking me, ‘Do you like this? Do you like this?’ And I go, ‘Wow, okay, I don't even have to do this. This is awesome.’ She's handling it pretty much.”

Gerry's daughters and granddaughters also attended the wedding.

“They're all involved,” he said. “There's a spot for every family member in the wedding party. We wouldn't have it any other way. It’s going to be spectacular.”

"The Golden Bachelor" Fantasy Suites Recap

Disney / John Fleenor

The Golden Bachelor fantasy suites episode followed Gerry and the last two contestants, Leslie and Theresa all the way to Costa Rica, where they were given the opportunity to get... closer.

Sure, the fantasy suites provides massive potential for physical connection (or "knocking boots," as Gerry put it), but the Golden Bach was focused on emotions more than anything this time around:

“[To] ask the difficult questions that are strictly between two people, and also have the opportunity to be physically intimate with each other,” he said on the show. “At this age, it’s more gentle, it’s slow, it’s something you can savor, because it’s something that’s the most special [thing] you can have.”

Before he could elicit official invites for the fantasty suites, Gerry took both women on some *quite* adventurous individual dates. He rappelled down a waterfall with Leslie, and rode horses through the wilderness with Theresa. At the end of each date, he asked each woman to join him in the fantasty suite.

Whether boots were knocked or not, it was hard to narrow down who Gerry was really into after the fantasy suites episode. He told both Leslie and Theresa "I love you," but Gerry ultimately made a decision about who won his heart over.

“I headed towards the end, I was really in conflict about several of the women,” Gerry told People. “As very specific events occurred, it really helped me gain clarity on what I wanted to do.”

Who's the first Golden Bachelor?

ABC / Brian Bowen Smith

71-year-old Gerry Turner is the leading man on the spin-off series. Describing himself as "71 years young," the Indiana-based widower, father of two, grandfather, and retired restauranteur believes that it's "never too late to fall in love again."

Gerry was previously married to his high school sweetheart, Toni, who died in 2017 after becoming ill just six weeks after she retired. In an interview with Good Morning America, Gerry said that in her last weeks, all Toni wanted for him was happiness.

"For a while, I was having a hard time figuring out if she was okay... but we always told each other, when one of us goes, we want the other to be happy. She's up there rooting. She's saying, 'Yeah, Gerry, do this!'"

What is "The Golden Bachelor" about?

ABC / John Fleenor

The Golden Bachelor gives seniors another shot at love, following one hopeless romantic in search of a partner to share their sunset years with. Promising to “showcase a whole new kind of love story,” the show carves out space for women who have a whole lifetime of experience living through love, loss, and laughter to meet their forever.

Each of the 22 women invited to the show hopes for a spark that ignites a future full of possibilities. In the end, the Golden Bachelor is set to find everlasting love in just one of them.

Angie and Jenny, Gerry's two daughters, were "very excited" about their dad's role on The Golden Bachelor. When asked about what he was looking for in a future Mrs. Turner, he says he's looking for someone with "high energy," who might even play pickleball and golf. Even now, there's no slowing down Gerry!

Meet the 22 Women Competing for the Golden Bachelor's Heart

The Golden Bachelor started with a total of 22 women who are 60+ years of age. We love that the series was intentional about featuring a cast who's near the same age group as Gerry.

The Ladies Move Into the Mansion - The Golden Bachelor

Every season, there’s always a handful of contestants who make unforgettable first impressions, and this time was no different.

Some of the most noteworthy ladies from the show included Sandra, a 75-year-old retired executive assistant from Doraville, Georgia. The most seasoned of the bunch kicked her first interaction with Gerry off with a sensual meditation session where she proclaimed her love for the “F” and “S” words. Same girl, same.

Theresa, a 70-year-old financial services professional from Shrewsbury, New Jersey, bared it all on her first meeting with Gerry. It was her cake day after all, and she figured there was no better time to show off her birthday suit than the show's first episode. LOL.

Faith, a 60-year-old high school teacher from Benton City, Washington, exuded cool-girl energy with a head-turning stunt. Riding in on a motorcycle with hair whipping, and even shocking audiences with a guitar solo, there’s no surprise that she walked away with a little kiss (and the first impression rose).

One of our favorite step-outs of the first night was Leslie, 64, who left the limo in a gray wig, a muumuu nightgown, and a walker to boot. But – after pulling off the guise to reveal a show-stopping sparklingly dress, the retired dancer proved that she’s anything but geriatric. And also, apparently Prince ( yes, *the* Prince) wrong a song about her?! Talk about an “it" girl.

Image via Liam Daniel/Netflix

Friends-to-lovers fans, it's finally our turn to shine!! Bridgerton season 3 will focus on Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton (affectionately referred to as "Polin"), and while that is, admittedly, the thing I'm most excited for, I also *need* to know if Penelope and Eloise are going to patch up their friendship — and how long it's going to take Colin to find out Penelope is Lady Featherington. Check out our Bridgerton season 4 post for more news!

Part one of Bridgerton season 3 drops on Netflix May 16, and stars Luke Newton, Nicola Caughlin, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Ruth Gemmell, Florence Hunt, Will Tilston, Simone Ashley, and Jonathan Bailey.

The Acolyte — On Disney+ June 4, 2024

Image via Disney+/Lucasfilm

In this new TV show, a Jedi Master has to come up against a dangerous warrior from the past after a crime spree rocks the galaxy. After shows like Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi, I'm super excited to see what else the Star Wars Universe has up its sleeve!

The Acolyte premieres on Disney+ June 4 and stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Outer Banks Season 4 — Coming In 2024

Image via Jackson Lee Davis/Netflix

As a native Outer Banks-er myself, I can't wait for Outer Banks to return, and it looks like it'll be this year! The Pogues are out of school and on their own, and for Outer Banks season 4, they're staying on the OBX thanks to a treasure hunt for Blackbeard's treasure.

Outer Banks season 4 is coming in 2024 and stars Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Carlacia Grant, Drew Starkey, and Austin North.

The Bear Season 3 — Coming To FX In 2024

Image via FX/YouTube

There's one question on everyone's mind after The Bear season 2: how is Carmy getting out of the freezer? (However, admittedly, the question on *my* mind is whether Carmy and Sydney are endgame because HELLO). Jeremy Allen White has gone on the record saying The Bear season 3 will bring the characters back to the kitchen environment we loved in season 1 — we can only imagine what season 4 will look like!

The Bear season 3 is coming to FX in 2024. We'll see Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson.

The Bachelorette — Coming To ABC In 2024

Photo via Disney/Richard Middlesworth

While we're not totally over that shocking The Bachelor finale, we are looking forward to the next season of The Bachelorette — especially since our new Bachelorette was just announced! Jenn Tran is flirty, fun, and is also the first Asian American woman to headline the hit show. I cannot wait!

The Bachelorette is coming to ABC in 2024 and will star Jenn Tran.

Big Little Lies Season 3 — Coming Soon To Max

Image via HBO

While we don't know much about the third season of the hit Reese Witherspoon series, we do know that the show will have a major tone shift for one very simple reason: the Monterey Five are dealing with teens now! "These children [on the show] are not children anymore. They’re teenagers now!" Shailene Woodley tells Bazaar. "Their voices have dropped, they all have their teenage situation happening, and the angst is kicking in, and that, to me, is what is exciting about the possibility of a third season. What does life look like for those people who are not children anymore?" I can't wait to find out!

Big Little Lies season 3 is coming to Max soon and we're hoping to see Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and Zoë Kravitz, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Kathryn Newton, Meryl Streep, and Adam Scott all return.

Tell Me Lies Season 2 — Coming Soon To Hulu

Image via Josh Stringer/Hulu

Tell Me Lies is coming back for an even more dramatic (and, apparently, dishonest) second season. While we don't have many plot details yet, series creator Meaghan Oppenheimer tells TVLine “I think there will be some revenge plots in Season 2.”

Tell Me Lies season 2 is coming to Hulu soon and stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Thomas Doherty, Tom Ellis, Branden Cook, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, and Catherine Missal.

Only Murders In The Building Season 4 — Coming Soon To Hulu

Image via Patrick Harbron/Hulu

In a shocking turn of event, Only Murders in the Building season 4 won't be in Mabel, Charles, and Oliver's building — it won't even be in New York! Hulu's confirmed that the fourth season will take place (at least partly) in LA. Does this mean we'll get a scene of Steve Martin and Martin Short tanning at the beach?

Only Murders in the Building season 4 is coming soon to Hulu and stars Selena Gomez, Martin Short, Steve Martin, Meryl Streep, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Kumail Nanjiani, and Molly Shannon.

Emily In Paris Season 4 — Coming Soon To Netflix

Image via Marie Etchegoyen/Netflix.

Emily in Paris season 3 ended with a bang, and the newest season looks like it'll feature just as much drama (even if that's hard to believe). TBH, above all, I just want Emily and Gabriel to get together!

Emily in Paris season 4 is coming to Netflix soon and will star Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Camille Razat, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery.

Harry Potter — Coming Soon To Max

Image via Warner Bros.

You might think you know the story of Harry Potter, but this brand new TV show will make you rethink everything. HBO and Warner Bros. will release this series over the course of 10 years, and it'll have enough attention to detail to keep even the most enthusiastic HP fan engaged. Grab your Harry Potter house scarf, your pumpkin juice, and get cozy.

The new Harry Potter TV show is coming to Max soon, and I hope we get cameos from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint!

We Were Liars — Coming Soon To Prime Video

"Vampire Diaries" image via CBS/WB/The CW

We Were Liars is reunitingVampire Diaries star Candice King with producer Julie Plec. The new TV show follows Cadence and the Sinclair family, who reunite for the summer on their private island. This summer, however, is different than all the others: there's been a terrible accident, and even though Cadence can't remember what happened, no one will tell her.

We Were Liars is coming soon to Prime Video and stars Mamie Gummer, Caitlin FitzGerald, and Candice King.

The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 — Coming Soon To AppleTV+

Image via Apple TV+

We don't know much about The Last Thing He Told Meseason 2, but we do know that the story will draw inspiration from author Laura Dave's upcoming sequel novel — and that we'll learn more about why Owen left the way he did. Yes, please!

The Last Thing He Told Me season 2 is coming soon to Apple TV+ and we'll see the return of Jennifer Garner, Angourie Rice, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and David Morese.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 — Coming Soon To Prime Video

Image via Erika Doss/Prime Video

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 is definitely one of my most-anticipated shows right now, especially since the season 2 ending left me with *so many* questions. But whether you're team Jeremiah or team Conrad, I hope we can all agree on one thing: the standout couple is Steven and Taylor ;).

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 is coming soon and stars Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, Jackie Chung, and Rachel Blanchard.

The White Lotus Season 3 — Coming Soon To Max

Image via Fabio Lovino/HBO

Now that it's spring break season, I'm thinking about all the places I want to travel. Paris! Greece! London! If Thailand is also on your list, then get excited for The White Lotus season 3. We're getting new names (and some familiar faces), and creator Mike White says it's going to be "longer, bigger, crazier." Sounds good to me!

The White Lotus season 3 is coming to Max soon. The show stars Carrie Coon, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, Aimee Lou Wood, and Lalisa Manobal..

Seven Days In June — Coming Soon To Prime Video

Image via Amazon

The Seven Days in June TV show news is still pretty fresh, so we don't have much on the cast or release date (although I'm fairly confident we'll see it by the end of 2025). The novel follows two writers — Eva and Shane — who spent a romantic and sexy week together when they were teens. 15 years later, their paths cross at a literary event, and they have seven days to figure out if they have a future — or if their hearts are too broken to men.

Seven Days in June is coming to Prime Video soon.

Euphoria Season 3 — Coming Soon To Max

Photo by Eddy Chen / HBO

The Euphoria kids might be graduating high school, but I highly doubt they're leaving the drama behind. I mean, did you *see* Maddy and Cassie's onstage fight in season 2?! Get your Euphoria makeup looks prepped and primed because this is one premiere party you'll want to host!

Euphoria season 3 is coming soon to Max, and we're expecting to see Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, and Maude Apatow.

You Season 5 — Coming Soon To Netflix

Lonely Boy — er, I mean Joe Goldberg — was seen filming around New York City starting March 2024, and while there are a few things we do know (like he's returning to Mooney's Bookstore), I'm more concerned with what we *don't* know. "You're considering what, or should I say who, Joe will come up against as he finally returns to New York," Penn Badgley says in the official teaser. "Though I can't say who just yet, we all know there are many loose ends from Joe's past."

You season 5 is coming to Netflix soon and stars Penn Badgley, Charlotte Ritchie, Madeline Brewer, Anna Camp, and Griffin Matthews.

This post has been updated.

We're not even through all of this year's spring movies and we're already looking ahead to the best 2025 movies coming our way! The year will be full of nostalgic favorites, long-awaited sequels, and new Marvel movies featuring all our favorite actors. Keep reading for all the new 2025 movies you need to know about, and make sure you keep tabs on which 2024 movies to see before we get to New Year's Eve!

Bridget Jones 4 — In Theaters February 14, 2025

Image via Giles Keyte/Universal Pictures

Disney's Live-Action Snow White — In Theaters March 21, 2025

Image via Disney

Following The Little Mermaid, the next live Disney movie will be Snow White. Disney's putting a new spin on the classic story, and our titular leading lady will be played by Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes star Rachel Zegler. I literally cannot wait to see her shine!

Snow White hits theaters March 21 and stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.

Fantastic Four — In Theaters July 25, 2025

Image via Marvel Studios

My most-anticipated 2025 movie is, without a doubt, The Fantastic Four. I've always loved this quartet (probably thanks to my love for Chris Evans in the original 2005 film), and I can't wait to see how the MCU puts their own spin on the story. They never fail to surprise, and I'm sure this will be no different.

The Fantastic Four hits theaters July 25 and stars Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Vanessa Kirby.

Scream 7 — Coming In 2025

Image via Brownie Harris/Paramount Pictures

We don't have much news on Scream 7 yet, except that Neve Campbell is returning as Sidney Prescott! We didn't see the franchise lead in Scream 6 (an absence I felt very deeply) but I know she's going to kick butt in this new movie. Whatever happens, one thing's for sure: this Ghostface is going to be the craziest yet.

Scream 7 is coming soon and will star Neve Campbell and (hopefully) Courteney Cox.

A Complete Unknown — Coming In 2025

Image via Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Timothée Chalamet's newest role might not be fictional like Dune 2's Paul Atreides, but he's just as complex. The actor is starring as a young Bob Dylan throughout his shift away from folk music in the 1960s. If you're a die-hard Bob Dylan fan, let me put your mind at ease: every photo from set makes me do a double take because Timothée looks just like him.

Timothée Chalamet's Bob Dylan movie is coming in 2025 and also stars Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Edward Norton, and Nick Offerman.

A Simple Favor 2 — Coming In 2025

Image via Lionsgate

After we see Blake Lively in It Ends With Us, we'll see her star opposite Anna Kendrick in this 2025 movie. The first A Simple Favor is one of my favorite movie experiences ever, and I'm sure this sequel is going to be even better.

A Simple Favor 2 is coming in 2025 and stars Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick.

In order to avoid eczema flare ups and take on my ever-rising body temperature — getting older is wild, folks — my skincare routine now includes using aluminum-free deodorants. Instead of complaining that things differ as my body ebbs and flows, I’m learning it’s okay to embrace this new change...and sleeping sleeping with the ceiling fan on from time to time so I don't sweat all night. Luckily, I’ve discovered amazing beauty products as a result of all this, and my skin happily welcomes it.

In the market for something that won’t irritate your own skin but will fight odor? I’ve got your back with 6 aluminum-free deodorants that will be gentle on your skin, and tough on any stink.

Native Whole Body Deodorant — Coconut & Vanilla

One of the first aluminum-free deodorants I used was Native’s coconut & vanilla version. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I found that I didn’t have stinky armpits when the day ended. It doesn’t sound pleasant because it never is, but it’s the truth. The thing I love about Native’s Whole Body formula is that it can be applied to places like my under-boob area — something that never mattered before I went up a cup size.

Dove Beauty VitaminCare+ Aluminium-Free Deodorant Stick — Raspberry & Rose

I've also had the chance to try Dove Beauty's aluminum-free deodorant and I have to say I love the texture of it. It literally glides onto the skin and offers the same 72 hours of protection as my favorite Native deodorant. It's also formulated with anti-microbial peptides and niacindamide to help keep your skin free from breakouts. Niacinamide has been such a huge asset for my skin so I get excited whenever I see it in products!

Hey Humans Naturally Derived Aluminum-Free Deodorant — Banana & Aloe

Would you use a dermatologist-tested and aluminum-free deodorant that has essential oils in it? Well, I recommend you try Hey Humans naturally derived formula! Ingredients such as arrowroot powder and coconut oil are what makes this deodorant natural while the recycled packaging keeps it on the sustainable side. Did I mention there's a bit of vitamin E and shea butter in it as well?

It's like you can't go wrong with the super cute packaging and great formula!

Cleo+coco Charcoal (Aluminum-Free) Deodorant — Cocoa Beach

I'm super biased so I love scents that remind me of a relaxing spring break or summer vacation. I'm also a gourmand scent woman so there's there! What intrigues me about this company is that they understand that people have sensitive skin that doesn't always react well to chemicals. It's something I actually love about most of the aluminum-free deodorants I've discovered!

This formula actually derives from Cleo+coco's extra strength deodorant, but uses charcoal and magnesium to fight odor instead of baking soda. I know some people worry about that so wanted to make sure you feel comfortable trying this brand!

P.S. It doesn't leave behind any residue either if you're not a fan of lifting your arms to see white stains streaked across your armpits.

Lumē Whole Body Aluminum-Free Deodorant — Unscented

As much as I love aluminum-free deodorants that have yummy warm scents, I know everyone doesn't like their skincare products to smell like anything. Besides helping to eliminate body odor, this deodorant slowly evens your skin tone over time — bye, bye under arm hyperpigmentation — and reduces skin redness.

Dr. Teal’s Aluminum-Free Deodorant — Eucalyptus

Everyone please remain calm because Dr. Teal's has entered the picture with an aluminum-free deodorant that can best be described as zen in a tube. I'm exaggerating, but the formula helps you absorb any wetness you may feel from sweating thanks to ingredients like arrowroot powder.
