Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus Made Their Relationship Awards-Show Official at the 2017 Emmys
Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus have been (slowly) letting their guard down around their budding relationship. They weren’t shy about showing some PDA at the US Open earlier this month, and last night, Affleck accompanied Shookus to the 2017 Emmy Awards, where she and the rest of the Saturday Night Live crew celebrated a big win for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series.
While they didn’t walk the red carpet as a couple, Affleck was by Shookus’ side for the show at LA’s Microsoft Theatre and watched from the audience as she stood on stage to accept SNL‘s Emmy Award with her fellow producers (including, of course, SNL mastermind Lorne Michaels).
Later, the couple attended HBO’s afterparty at the Fountain Plaza at the Pacific Design Center, where they were seen sharing a table with Curb Your Enthusiasm stars Larry David and Jeff Garlin. The awards show was their first official public event together.
Affleck and Jennifer Garner filed for divorce in April (after splitting in 2015), but they remain close co-parents to their three children. While neither Shookus nor Affleck has spoken publicly about their relationship, we think it’s safe to say that their actions speak for themselves — and they seem to be enjoying their time together.
