Cindy Crawford Recreates Her 1992 Pepsi Super Bowl Ad With Son Presley Gerber
Despite the fact that Super Bowl LII won’t air until February 4, we’ve already gotten a look at some of the commercials that will air during the big game. And as in past years, several of Hollywood’s brightest stars are getting in on the fun, from Tiffany Haddish and Keanu Reeves to Peter Dinklage and Morgan Freeman. That list also now includes Cindy Crawford, who, with the help of her son, Presley Gerber, recreated her iconic Pepsi Super Bowl ad.
Back in 1992, the supermodel starred in one of the most memorable Super Bowl commercials of all time. The 60-second spot, which featured the stunning beauty drinking a cool and refreshing Pepsi in front of some seriously smitten boys, became an instant classic.
Now, 26 years later, Crawford is back for another Pepsi Super Bowl ad — and she’s not alone.
This time around, her son, model Presley Gerber, is right there with her. Having appeared in publications including Vogue Paris and L’Uomo Vogue, the 18-year-old is seemingly following his mother into a successful career both in front of the camera and on the runway.
We’re pretty sure these two could have carried the entire spot alone, but their appearance is just a blip in a series of nostalgic pop culture highlights, from Back to the Future to Britney Spears, race car drivers to moon-walkers. Pepsi clearly wants to remind us that it’s been around for so many of our favorite memories.
