As coffee faves like Starbucks and McDonald鈥檚 continue to keep customers coming back with everything from wildly pretty聽rainbow drinks to new聽takes on old espresso classics, Dunkin鈥 Donuts has people melting down with the announcement that they鈥檙e discontinuing one of the chain鈥檚 favorite coffee drinks.

The iconic Coffee Coolatta will come off the menu this summer, as it is no longer 鈥済ood enough,鈥 according to senior vice president of brand marketing, Chris Fuqua. It鈥檒l be replaced by the Frozen Dunkin鈥 Coffee, which aims to be closer to a cold brew and draw the interest of classic coffee drinkers than the dessert-like Coolata鈥 but by the sounds of it from fans of the sweet, sweet drink 鈥 good luck with that!

Not all is lost, however 鈥 Dunkin鈥 Donuts will keep the fruity flavors of the Coolattas, as well as roll out new ones over time. Oh, and there鈥檙e still donuts! Donuts make everything better.

Ok, we'll share. But just one sip. 馃榿
